About Kimber
Fifteen years ago Kimber gave up being a lawyer and dove into the intensive study of yoga, with barely a glance back. Since then, yoga has brought more joy and delight to her life every day. She received her Anusara Yoga teaching certification in 2008 and has found much inspiration from wonderful teachers, including Katchie Ananda, Sianna Sherman, Noah Maze, Pema Chodron, Carlos Pomeda, Wes Nisker, Kevin Griffin, and many others. The wisdom of Buddhist and Tantric philosophy, the insights of physics and psychology, storytelling, and music continuously resonate through Kimber’s teaching and the experience of her students on the mat. Kimber is the author of the award-winning memoir Full and her most recent self-help book, 52 Ways to Love Your Body.

they say Disneyland is the happiest place on earth, but I'm certain it's full belly farm doing yoga in the walnut orchard ? Although this is the last retreat at full belly farm, I highly recommend visiting and supporting the farm. It's an amazing farm with great values not only in their farming but how they keep everyone employed all year and with health benefits. Thanks to kimber, all the yogis, full belly farm and the wonderful cooks for an unforgettable long weekend :)

On the Full Belly retreat I couldn't believe how much trust we developed as a group to dive deeper into conversation and community, along with amazing yoga and meditation in the walnut orchard. With the support of Kimber’s teachings and my friends, I overcame a couple of fears during the retreat, and I’m excited to bring more of that inspiration into my daily life. I'm glad I listened to my inner voice and took the time to nurture my self via yoga, nature, and community. I highly recommend this retreat to anyone--the yoga is accessible for every body and the farm setting is soothing beyond all expectation.

I remember first hearing about Kimber’s Full Belly Farm Retreat: practicing yoga in a walnut orchard, eating delicious organic food from the farm, and a long weekend away sounded wonderful. My friends were unavailable, so I went on my own and met some great people, including one very special friend—we’re still close even though she lives across the country. I love that Kimber offers options for different poses and levels of yoga, and invites us to do what feels best for our bodies in the moment, making the retreat very restorative and rejuvenating at the same time. And last, but not least, all the meals were super healthy and tasty—get the Full Belly Farm CSA box too! Can't wait to go again!

Kimber is a remarkable teacher. She is kind, patient and supportive, creating an atmosphere in which every student, no matter his or her level of accomplishment, feels welcome. The philosophical ruminations, her literary references, and personal experiences she shares greatly enrich our class experience. In her one-on-one with me she always seems to find just the right adjustment to enable me to gain greater fulfillment from each pose. I cannot recommend her too highly!
