About this trip

Join Kimber at Full Belly Farm for an amazing Memorial Day weekend. We'll sleep under the stars, enjoy yoga under the canopy of the walnut orchard, and eat delicious seasonal organic vegetables prepared straight from the fields. Over the course of two nights / three days, we'll tell stories around the evening campfire, stretch out and relax on this beautiful sustainable farm, and reconnect to our bodies, our food, and the earth.

What’s included

  • Mindful yoga practices throughout the weekend (including medium flow asana, restorative poses, alignment, meditation, and chanting)
  • Five organic, locally-sourced meals incorporating ingredients straight off the farm
  • Camping under the stars! (Bring your own tent and sleeping bag)
  • Farm tour, camp fire, community, and more!

About Kimber
Fifteen years ago Kimber gave up being a lawyer and dove into the intensive study of yoga, with barely a glance back. Since then, yoga has brought more joy and delight to her life every day. She received her Anusara Yoga teaching certification in 2008 and has found much inspiration from wonderful teachers, including Katchie Ananda, Sianna Sherman, Noah Maze, Pema Chodron, Carlos Pomeda, Wes Nisker, Kevin Griffin, and many others. The wisdom of Buddhist and Tantric philosophy, the insights of physics and psychology, storytelling, and music continuously resonate through Kimber’s teaching and the experience of her students on the mat. Kimber is the author of the award-winning memoir Full and her most recent self-help book, 52 Ways to Love Your Body.

Hi everyone, I went last year, and I must say this is a very special and unique experience. Practicing yoga in the walnut orchard, covered from the heat by the canopy of leaves, was very comforting... Best yoga studio ever. Kimber is a skilled instructor who goes at a great pace so you can really stay in touch with your body. Magically, at just the right moment in the pose, or on an out breath when you are ready to inhale something rich, she shares an insight from a great writer or thinker that makes its way in through your open limbs and mind. Her selections are always insightful and spot on... from Louise Erdrich to Rumi. The food was also amazing, there's an intergenerational team of organic chefs who whip up the most delicious healthy, creative food. There are no showers, so google "camping shower," "DIY water bottle bath," or biodegradable wipes... and you'll be set. ( There's also a fast running creek, if you want to go pioneer style). It's definitely worth it! Thanks for offering the retreat again Kimber🙏🏽. And thank you Full belly farm for having us.

Your Organizer

Doing yoga with Kimber has made me stronger. She helps you find the balance between challenging yourself and not pushing yourself too far. I appreciate her focus on good technique, as a way to avoid injury and get the most out of the yoga poses.

Kimber is a remarkable teacher. She is kind, patient and supportive, creating an atmosphere in which every student, no matter his or her level of accomplishment, feels welcome. The philosophical ruminations, her literary references, and personal experiences she shares greatly enrich our class experience. In her one-on-one with me she always seems to find just the right adjustment to enable me to gain greater fulfillment from each pose. I cannot recommend her too highly!

I remember first hearing about Kimber’s Full Belly Farm Retreat: practicing yoga in a walnut orchard, eating delicious organic food from the farm, and a long weekend away sounded wonderful. My friends were unavailable, so I went on my own and met some great people, including one very special friend—we’re still close even though she lives across the country. I love that Kimber offers options for different poses and levels of yoga, and invites us to do what feels best for our bodies in the moment, making the retreat very restorative and rejuvenating at the same time. And last, but not least, all the meals were super healthy and tasty—get the Full Belly Farm CSA box too! Can't wait to go again!
