Discover the magic of the Peruvian Amazon with our Full Day Amazon tour in Iquitos, an experience designed to connect you with the nature, culture, and biodiversity of this breathtaking region. During this tour, we'll navigate the majestic Amazon River, enjoy its stunning landscapes, and have the opportunity to observe pink river dolphins, learn about the traditions of the Yagua native community, visit wildlife rescue centers, and sample typical Amazonian products.
09:30 am We will pick up passengers at their hotel in Iquitos or at a designated meeting point.
From there, we will begin our transfer to the Bellavista Nanay tourist pier.
During the transfer, we will take a brief tour of the city of Iquitos, appreciating some of its main attractions and learning about its history.
Upon arrival at the Bellavista Nanay dock, we will have approximately 15 minutes for a short tour to learn about some typical Amazonian products and dishes.
Those who wish can take this opportunity to sample some local specialties.
We will board our vessel, the “Pamacari,” to begin our navigation on the majestic Amazon River.
Pink Dolphin Watching
During the boat trip, we will have the opportunity to observe pink river dolphins, one of the most iconic experiences in the Amazon.
(The sighting takes place in a natural environment, so the presence of the dolphins cannot be guaranteed and depends on river conditions and the animals' behavior.)
We will continue our tour with a visit to the Yagua Native Community.
During this experience, we will learn about some of their ancestral customs and traditions, as well as admire their traditional clothing made from palm fibers.
Afterward, we will visit a wildlife rescue center, where we can observe different species representative of the Amazon, including:
Macaws
Turtles
Anacondas
Sloths
Mata matas (a type of bird)
Curassows
Monos
We will visit a traditional Amazonian sugar mill, where we can learn about some of the products used in Amazonian traditions.
We will have the opportunity to sample artisanal macerated beverages made with ingredients such as camu camu, seven roots, and ginger.
After the lodge presentation, we will enjoy a typical Loreto lunch in a self-service format.

At the appropriate time, we will board our boat again to begin the return journey to Iquitos.
We will sail back to Nanay, where we will disembark and continue our land transfer to the city center.
Transfer to Plaza de Armas / Downtown Iquitos
Once in Nanay, we will transfer to the Plaza de Armas (main square) of downtown Iquitos, concluding our tour.
