This full-day adventure takes you through Dar es Salaam's historical sites, bustling markets, and cultural  landmarks. From the iconic Askari Monument to the African Liberation Struggle House, you'll learn about  the city's history and its role in Tanzania's development. Enjoy visits to the National Museum, Botanical  Gardens, and the Ferry Fish Market, before experiencing the vibrant atmosphere of Kariakoo Market.  The day concludes with a visit to the Village Museum, featuring traditional dance performances and  handicraft shopping

Cancellation Policy

  1. 48+ Hours Before Tour Date: Full refund minus the non-refundable deposit (if applicable).
  2. 24-48 Hours Before Tour Date: 50% refund.
  3. Less than 24 Hours / No Show: No refund.
  4. Rescheduling: Allowed once at no extra cost if requested 48+ hours before the tour date. Subject to availability.

Children Policy

  1. Ages 0-3: Free of charge (must be accompanied by an adult).
  2. Ages 4-10: 50% of the adult price.
  3. Ages 11+: Full adult price.
  4. All children must be under the supervision of an adult throughout the tour.

  • Group Discount: 10% off for groups of 4 or more.

  • Discount Code: GROUP10 (Must be applied at the time of booking).

Full Day Experience

8:00 AM: Pick-up from your hotel in Dar es Salaam city center.

 8:30 AM - 9:00 AM: Start the tour at Old Boma, one of the oldest buildings in the city. 9:15 AM - 9:30 AM: Visit historical churches and buildings, including St. Joseph’s Cathedral. 

9:45 AM - 10:00 AM: Stop by the Askari Monument and learn about Tanzania’s WWI history.

 10:15 AM - 10:45 AM: Explore the African Liberation Struggle House for a glimpse into the region's  political history.

11:00 AM - 11:45 AM: Visit the National Museum and learn about Tanzania's cultural and historical  heritage.

12:00 PM - 12:30 PM: Stroll through the Botanical Gardens and enjoy the serene surroundings. 

12:45 PM - 1:30 PM: Enjoy a local lunch at a recommended restaurant. 

1:45 PM - 2:30 PM: Visit the Ferry Fish Market to observe the vibrant seafood trading culture. 

2:45 PM - 3:30 PM: Explore Kariakoo Market, a bustling hub for local goods. 

3:45 PM - 5:00 PM: Conclude the day at the Village Museum with traditional dance performances and  craft shopping. 5:30 PM: Return to your hotel.
