We begin hotel pickup at 3:20 AM to start our adventure. Departure from Cusco is approximately 3:50 AM.
Note: The pick up from hotel, it's from accedible streets in the city centre, if this condition is not met we will design a near meting point.
After a drive of about 1 hour and 30 minutes, we arrive in Cusipata, where we will enjoy a delicious buffet breakfast.
We then continue by transportation for approximately 4 more hours, enjoying the spectacular landscapes of the Andean highlands and the vicuña reserve along the way.
We will take a gentle hike of approximately 15 minutes on flat terrain.
Upon arrival at Quelccaya Glacier, you will admire impressive ice formations, snow-covered caves, and breathtaking views of the largest tropical glacier in the world.
The visit and exploration of the glacier area lasts approximately 2 hours.
We return to Phinaya, where a delicious local lunch awaits us.
After lunch, we continue by transportation to Lake Sibinacocha, one of the largest and most beautiful lakes in the Peruvian Andes.
Following our visit to the lake, we continue to the Checacupe Bridges, an iconic historical attraction in the region.
We conclude the tour with drop-off in Cusco's Plaza de Armas.
