Together, our team of plant-based chefs is thrilled to invite you to join us at the upcoming retreat in Belize, where we will showcase our passion for sustainable, ethical, and delectable plant-based cuisine. Get ready to embark on a journey that celebrates the beauty of nature and the art of mindful eating.

One of our friendly guides will pick you up at the airport and bring you to Jade Jungle Resort where you will check into your room and get settled into your space.

The first evening will be spent meeting your fellow travelers and hosts, and socializing over good vegan eats.

Enjoy a late start as you recover from your travel. Yoga starts at 7:30 AM and breakfast at 8:30. Feel free to skip any activities throughout the week. This retreat is for you, and you choose what to do and not do.

At 10:00 we will gather for a rainforest hike and dip in the river. 

After lunch we will have a tour of the Maya Plaza, massages for those who scheduled them, and free time for relaxation and exploration until dinner at 6:30.

After dinner we will hold a meditation class.

After breakfast we will head to Nohoch Che'en to enjoy Zip Lining, Lunch, and then Cave Tubing!

On our way back from the adventures, you will stop by a local gift shop for an opportunity to shop for souvenirs or grab a snack at the cafe.

The evening will be for downtime, dinner and socializing.

Start your morning with a birding tour to spot some of the nearly 300 birds that frequent the property at Jade Jungle Resort.

Enjoy Yoga, trail hiking and a picnic lunch in the meadow.

In the afternoon, try your hand at making chocolate or chili powder before another delicious dinner and evening breathing exercise.

Mid morning we will head to Rio On Pools for a picnic lunch. Enjoy swimming in the pools, slides and waterfalls.

After lunch we will take a short drive and hike down some steep steps and over rocks to get to Big Rock Falls for a nice swim and photo op. For the adventurous types, cliff jumping is also available here.

Enjoy more downtime and a nice dinner in the evening.

Today is a choose your own adventure day!

For the more adventurous types, we will go to ATM Cave where the Maya people performed rituals and sacrifices for hundreds of years. You will hike about 1.5 miles including three river crossings, and then swim into the cave about 50 feet. After your swim you will hike through the cave system stream for another half mile until you reach the cathedral and the areas where most of the rituals were performed. You will see many artifacts and even human remains. After the tour, you will head back to the trailhead for a late lunch, and then return to the resort.

For those that find open skies and beautiful colors more appealing, we will head to Xunantunich, cross the hand-cranked ferry, and then hike a quarter mile up the hill to explore the Maya Temples. Those who would like to can climb to the top of El Castillo 130 feet (40M) high and get breathtaking views of Western Belize and into Guatemala. After a picnic lunch we will head to Green Hill Butterfly Ranch and learn about the lifecycle of the butterfly along with viewing several species from egg to caterpillar to chrysalis and finally as butterflies. You will also see many species of hummingbirds.

In the evening we will conclude with a goodbye ceremony featuring s'mores and stargazing!

After your last Belizean breakfast buffet you will be taken to the airport for your departing flight.
