Lima Historic City Tour
This morning, the group will explore Lima’s historic heart — a city that once ruled over the Spanish colonies of South America. The visit begins at the Palace of Justice and the Congress of the Republic, architectural symbols of Peru’s republican era. (Please note that access to these sites is subject to official availability.)
We will then head to the Plaza Mayor, founded in 1535, where the grandeur of the Cathedral, the Archbishop’s Palace, and the traditional wooden balconies evoke the elegance of the “City of Kings.” Walking its plazas and arcades reveals the city’s layered past, where time seems to stand still between carved stone and baroque façades.
Our morning continues with a visit to Casa Aliaga, a 16th-century mansion that has remained in the same family for seventeen generations — a living witness to Lima’s colonial past.
Lunch
We will conclude the visit with a wonderful Welcome Lunch in Casa Aliaga's dining room, where history and hospitality come together in one of Lima’s most remarkable settings.
Barranco Shopping Experience
In the afternoon, we will explore Barranco, Lima’s most bohemian and creative district. Once the seaside retreat of Lima’s aristocracy, its colorful streets are lined today with restored mansions that house galleries, ateliers, and concept stores celebrating Peruvian creativity.
Our walk will take us through quiet lanes and leafy plazas, discovering pieces that blend tradition with contemporary design — from handcrafted jewelry and textiles to ceramics and fashion infused with local artistry. Along the way, we’ll meet the city’s creative pulse and feel the effortless charm that makes Barranco Lima’s artistic soul.
This experience is more than a shopping tour — it’s an immersion into the design, color, and craftsmanship that define modern Peru.
