Program Overview

DAY 1 – Friday February 27, 2026                

4:55 AM      Arrive at Airport , then report to the check in desk area to print                      boarding passes and to check luggage. Note: groups should check in

at least 2 hours prior to scheduled departure.

6:55 AM     depart on SW Airlines, flight #???? from Columbus, OH to Tampa,

Florida - please note that no meals are included in this flight.

9:10 AM    arrive at Tampa Airport, collect your luggage and check-in with your

shuttle driver who will help you load the shuttle and transfer to the hotel.   

11:00 AM   Arrive Hotel to Check-In or store luggage - Embassy Suites Downtown

12:00 PM Lunch and spend the day getting the lay of the land for tomorrow's STN National Convention "Crazy 8's" competition.

Dinner on your own as you explore downtown Tampa as a group gathering ideas and strategizing plans for the competition.

6:00 - 8:00 PM STN Amazing Race

8:00 AM - 6:00 PM - Compete in the Crazy 8's Competition

7:00 PM - 8:00 PM - Opening Ceremonies

8:00 AM - 6:00 PM - General Contests

9:00 AM - 4:00 PM - Master Sessions & Workshops

10:00 AM - 4:00 PM - Expo Marketplace

5:00 PM - Group Dinner

7:00 PM - 9:00 PM - Broadcast Excellence Awards

8:00 AM - 6:00 PM - General Contests

9:00 AM - 4:00 PM - Master Sessions & Workshops

12:00 PM - 4:00 PM - College Fair

6:30 PM - 9:00 PM - STN Cinefest

11:00 AM - 4:00 PM - Hotel checkout and possible beach time

4:00 PM    Load Coach to shuttle to the Airport

5:00 PM    arrive at Tampa International Airport and report to the check in desk                   area to print boarding passes and to check luggage -  Note: groups

should check in at least 2 hours prior to scheduled

departure.                                                                                                                                                             

7:00 PM    depart on SW Airlines, flight #???? from Tampa, Florida to                       

Columbus, OH no meals are included in this flight;

9:15 PM     arrive at Columbus International Airport, collect your luggage,          

find your loved ones and head home!
