Our company began in 1998 as a dream that merged ecology and tourism. At Galaeco our goal has always been to develop an environmentally sensitive and sustainable tourism in Ecuador. We hope for the visitor to enjoy Ecuador's 51 protected natural areas while learning to live in balance with the environment. These are also the main goals pursued by the Ecuadorian Association of Eco-tourism (A.S.E.C.), of which we are a proud member. We are also members of the World Organization of Eco-Tourism with its headquarters in the U.S.A.

I was extremely pleased to be able to visit the World Famous Galapagos. The agents who organized the tour for me were so professional, kind and understanding. I had never done a tour such as this before and I had many questions. The agents were extremely patient with me. The choice of activities were varied and pleasant. The hotel, Blue Marlin was pleasant. The restaurant, El Rincón de Sabes, was a wonderful place. The staff was so kind and efficient. The food was very satisfying and fresh. The driver provided, Freddy, was friendly, prompt, informative and organized. He helped me speak Spanish and taught me a lot of history. The 360° tour was well organized. I was unfortunate with the weather and the lack of sea life viewed. The snorkel guide, Martin, was a joy to be around. He was very helpful to me as I am older and needed some help manouvering at times. All in all, the tour will always be one of my great memories of Ecuador. Thank you so much for allowing foreigners to see the wonders of the Galapagos
