About this trip

RESCHEDULED FROM 2020 DUE TO COVID-19 - we recommend you get travel insurance!

We're proud to announce that we've crafted a one-of-a-kind alternative to typical Galapagos dive travel.

Expensive live-aboards and diving 4x a day isn't for everyone - so our trip is a mix of land-based and diving activites to mix things up! You'll get to see not only the underwater beauty of the Galapagos, but also the unique things to see on land! We believe it'd be a shame to fly all the way there without a hike across volcanic rocks, cautiously avoiding the sneezing, camouflaged marine iguanas. And don't forget the bustling fish market, Giant tortoises, sea lions, penguins, blue-footed boobies, hammerheads, manta rays... The Galapagos have so much to offer!

SuperDive holds the belief that dive tourism should be organized keeping locally-owned businesses at the forefront (this helps keep YOUR costs down too!). To further "give back" to the area, we offer an optional half-day opportunity to volunteer on a locally owned tortoise farm. We hope that our actions will not only support the area, but give us a chance to appreciate it from a local perspective.

This was a great trip with a nice group of people! The diving was awesome, the accommodations were decent, and the overall vibe was easy going. The dive boat was nice and the crew was fun and professional. I'd go again in a heart beat!

I had a wonderful time diving with Nicole and Nick! They went above and beyond to make sure all of my questions are answered and I really felt safe to dive with them. Thank you so much for the experience and I can’t wait to dive with you again soon.

My second trip to 1000 Islands ever, and I of course went with Superdive again. We got to dive a new wreck, and I was able to explore parts of previous wrecks in even more depth. I completed my wreck diving specialty certification during this trip. Nicole was very thorough with the theory and practical applications, increasing my confidence and proficiency diving around and within wrecks. I can't wait for the next trip in August!

This was my first time diving in 1000 Islands, and Superdive has put together a fantastic package. The accommodations are very comfortable/safe and convenient to the diving and local attractions. The boat we went out on for Saturday and Sunday was impressive and very safe. Professionalism and friendliness were the hallmarks. I was initially nervous about possible currents in the river, but the briefing and guidance by Superdive fully prepared me for some fantastic wreck dives.

Such a fantastic weekend celebrating women who dive and introducing new women to diving. Great events and activities thought out by the organizers, plus FREE GIVEAWAYS that were amazing (thank you for the much needed reg bag!!) I completed my Peak Performance Buoyancy course with Nicole, and even though I was dealing with a lot of stress and frustration (not related to the diving), she was patient and encouraging. I was able to complete the skills and gain knowledge that I will use to improve my buoyancy for each subsequent dive. My second time camping/diving with Superdive, even better than the last time. Will be going on the next trip.
