About your trip

A truly memorable excursion  in the magical  Galapagos islands.

In eight days we will go hopping through the whole inhabited islands,

An excursion to remenber

We begin with a delightful city  tour in  Guayaquil, "The Gateway  To The Galapagos islands"

CUSTOM-MADE Galapagos excursion

             TESTIMONIAL:

We met Eduardo by coincidence during our visit in Guayaquil. We got his card from a lady in our hotel.

This was the best what ever could happen to us!!
We booked after a short discussion with him a half day trip to a private cacao farm. What an exciting event! We wouldn’t miss any minute of the trip.

So many explanations, personal hints and answers to all of our questions.

The best came after this short trip.

Afterwards his “service” wasn’t finished: he also was supporting us to arrange an unforgettable trip to the Galápagos Islands.

To make it short. We met as business partners and left as friends.
We only can recommend to get in touch with Eddie.
Each and every buck it’s worth to spend with him.

Arrival in Baltra and Transfer to Isabela island

Flight to the Galapagos islands We are going to go to the airport and there will be one of our personnel to assist the group during the three stages of the process. (Yes, there are some special procedures that we mus follow going to the  Galapagos islands).

After a 100 minutes flight, we are now officially on Galapagos soil,

This island was used by the U.S.AIR FORCE during WWII and they built the original runway.

Once we arrive From Baltra´s airport until  we reach today´s final destination the island of Isabela there´s an elaborate logistic

And that is exactly we´re always there with you to guide you through in a flawless fashion.

In some parts the use of public transportation is mandatory. When not, we use private vehicles.

Depending on our flight itinerary we will have a short  adventure in Santa Cruz  at  the GIANT TORTOISES RANCH AND VISIT THE LAVA TUBES  then  we´ll have to hurry to  the south part of Santa Cruz Island then at 2:00 p.m. we take  the  appointed  transfer to ISABELA ISLAND (a two hours fast-boat trip)

We will arrive in time to check-in in our hotel and then stroll around town to enjoy a peaceful afternoon by the shore until sunset  .

Here we might even  end the day  with a snorkeling session  at  Concha Perla bay , or  Photography session at  the 2 miles long  beach during sunset

Day 2 ISABELA TUNNELS

Day 2 ISABELA TUNNELS image

One of the most amazing snorkeling sessions ever, beyond words!

UNDERWATER ADVENTURES

A.M. EXCURSION

We´re visiting THE TUNNELS of Isabela  a gigantinc lava flow from Sierra Negra Volcano reached the ocean many  thousands of years ago, the result is now an area where the lava tubes and flows have been partially destroyed by the erosion of the ocean;  Creating underwater  tunnels and caves, these incredible lava formations are an awesome place for shallow water snorkeling through underwater tunnels where we will rejoice in the company of sharks, penguins, turtles, sealions and abundant tropical fish.

We will also be looking for the elusive and rather hard to find seahorses

Truly one of the best  snorkeling places in the whole archipelago .

Our regular  companions during this  snokeling session are: White tip  reef  sharks,  green turtles, sting rays,  penguins,  sealions

P.M. EXCURSION:

In the afternoon a 5 miles bicycle ride;

A ride towards the historical site of a penal colony known as El Muro de las Lágrimas “The Wall Of Tears”.

The adventure is not only the actual penal colony remains, on our way we will enjoy several beaches, will learn about the formation of the “LAVA TUNNELS” and lava flows this is particularly relevant when we consider the adventure we had early  this very  day :THE TUNNELS OF ISABELA.

There´s a visit to an estuary where we will bathe on turquoise waters where rain water coming from the highlands  meet the ocean water all in a magical environment where we´re surrounded by very tall red-mangroves.

A high view-point is also visited on this excursion from which we can really appreciate the volcanic origins of this islands. From this very point we will see two of the five volcanoes that form this island and several volcanic cones, craters and hills.

Day 3 Tintoreras islet

Day 3 Tintoreras islet image

An incredible islet with astonishing contrasts and beauty

A.M. EXCURSION:

Early in the morning we prepare for the first excursion in ISLET TINTORERAS, a fabulous walk between the lava flows, they allow us to learn the difference between A-A lava  and PAHOIHOI lava.

Blue-footed Boobies, Penguins,Pelicans, marine iguanas, sea-lions, lava lizards are some the incredible inhabitants of this islet.

We´ll walk through beaches of different colors until we reach some crevasses where sea lions and sharks share the space. Our adventure continues with an awesome snorkeling session. Our swimming partners are often Penguins, Sea-Lions, Sea Turtles and Sharks

P.M. Transfer  to  Santa Cruz:

Upon arrival  we check in on our hotel  and then  we will  have a leisure excursion   to the  "the German´s beach" if time allows we might  even  reach "The Crevasses" . A natural  formation where fresh water  from the highland  mix  with  ocean water on a long crack  along  the island

Day 4 FLOREANA

Day 4 FLOREANA image

The mostbizarre stories were born in this island, from pirates, murder

One outstanding FULL DAY excursion on a yacht to a partially uninhabited island.

BLUE FOOTED BOOBIES, FRIGATE BIRDS, LAVA HERONS, NIGHT GULLS, plus MARINE IGUANAS, SEA-LIONS will we seen as we walk around this small and yet magical excursion.

The fun does not end there!

We will go to the highlands to learn about the first inhabitants of this islands a group of german people a story of pioneering, lust, deceit and murder: The Legend of the Baroness.

Plus earlier sailors: Pirates, and even earlier pre-historic sailor who carved stones

SANTA CRUZ
Visit to Tortuga Bay beach, one of the most beautiful beaches in the archipelago. There is a lot to talk about and learn while we walk, a lot. of DARWIN FINCHES, MOCKING BIRDS, LIZARDS will be the topic of conversation.

Once we arrive, you will be amazed to see a mile-long white sand beach, an area where sea turtles nest. The walk will end in an area where many MARINE IGUANAS rest on the shore, many birds will fly very close to your heads LAVA SEAGULLS, BLUE HERONS, PELICANS, among other species.

There is a beach with calm waters where we can snorkel and if we are lucky we will encounter reef sharks while swimming.

Day7 The 360* trip

Day7 The 360* trip image

A day of discovery and enjoyment as we circumnavigate San Cristobal

NAVIGABLE TOUR 360* This excursion will take us on a journey around San Cristóbal Island, making a 360-degree turn around the island. With visits to three sites and an experiential fishing. BAHÍA ROSA BLANCA A white sand beach welcomes us after a short walk through a lava flow, to carry out a snorkeling session in which we will enjoy the company of tropical fish, tiger rays, green turtles, white tip reef sharks.  Then we will have some relaxing time on the white sand beach.

We continue our trip to do experiential fishing in PUNTA PITT, the easternmost point of the archipelago (that is, the closest point to continental Ecuador). An impressive panorama with vertiginous reefs, while our boat turns until we get fruits from the sea.

With the fruit of the fishing we delight ourselves with a ceviche or a sashimi. Our trip continues to CERRO BRUJO, a place where we will take some fantastic photos while admiring the landscape.

Place from which we will also take magnificent images of what will

be our last view; KICKER ROCK

Last visit of the day, it is indeed a 140-meter-high colossus that rises a short distance from the coast and will be the site where we will carry out our last snorkeling session. Site where it is possible to find sea lions, mantas, and on lucky days even hammerhead sharks.
