                                    NATIVE 8 DAYS GALAPAGOS PROGRAM


Day 1 Baltra – Santa Cruz – Visit the High Land – Lava Tunnels – (Rancho El Chato or Primicias)
12 30 Arrival at the BALTRA AIRPORT our guide from the Galapagos National Park will welcome you and will lead you to the corresponding buses for the transfer to the Itaba-ca canal where the ferries will take you to SANTA CRUZ ISLAND and then board the operator’s buses to start our journey to the HIGH PART OF THE ISLAND, where we will visit RANCHO PRIMICIA or CHATO II, in this spectacular place we can find turtles in their natural state and we will taste a delicious country lunch. We will continue towards THE LAVA TUNNELS of volcanic formation, we will walk inland for a distance of approx-imately 100 m, and our guide will give an explanation about the types of volcanic erup-tions that formed the islands.
Transfer to the Hotel, room assignment, dinner and accommodation.

Day 2 Bartolome and Sullivan Bay

07 00 A Galapagos National Park Naturalist Guide will pick you up from your hotel in Puerto Ayora and you will travel 35 minutes by bus to the Itabaca Canal. There we will board the YATE NAUTILUS that will be waiting for us with breakfast ready and we will navigate two hours to Bartolome Island. On the way we can observe endemic birds and dolphins in season (Dec to Mar).

Thanks to its beautiful scenery, Bartolome, located in the northwest of the archipelago, is a Gala-pagos icon. We’ll hike to the top of the island to observe the diverse landscape where we can see several types of volcanic cones plus lava lizards and marine iguanas. Then we’ll take a panga ride around the Pinnacle, a rock formation of more than 100 meters high where we may see Galapagos penguins nesting around the base. We’ll also look for sea lions and crabs.

After enjoying lunch on board the yacht we’ll visit Sullivan Bay which is part of Santiago Island. Here we’ll take a short walk to observe different flows of lava that originated very recently. We may also see Galapagos penguins and enjoy time on the beach.

17 00 From here we navigate back to the canal and return by bus to Puerto Ayora.

Day 3 Visit Isabela Island: Tour Tintorras Island, Breeding Center and Wetlands Caleta

07 00 Navigation to Isabela Island two hours of navigation this island is the largest of all the islands of the archipelago here we can take a walk to visit the Arnaldo Tupiza Breeding Center this place is one of the best of the islands since we can We can ob-serve these reptiles up close, ideal for taking good photos
Visit the island’s Wetlands, here we can observe endemic birds of the island, swimming marine iguanas and the typical pink flamingos of Isabela Island.
Lunch at the local restaurant

Visit the Tintoreras Island, here we will make a small navigation (20 mnts) we will take a walk to observe the marine iguanas nesting, the channel of the tintoreras and sea lions.
Then we will do a little snorkeling in the Bahia de las Tintoreras we can swim with Ga-lapagos penguins. Sea lions, sea turtles and white-tipped sharks.
15 00 Return to the hotel

Day 4 Full Day Snorkel to Los Túneles and Cabo Rosa

11 00 The National Park Naturalist guide will pick you up from the hotel and then take you to the yacht that will be waiting for you.
We will sail for 45 minutes by boat and then we will arrive at the Los Finados site, here we will do our first snorkel, the guide will guide us through small volcanic tubes that were formed thousands of years ago, the water is very crystalline and the place is not Very deep we can see the White Fin Sharks, Galapagos Sharks, Sea Lions and sea-horses.

In the afternoon we will do our second snorkel in the place of LOS TUNELES here we can swim in small islands that are nesting sites for sharks and sea turtles we can swim with Galapagos penguins and sea lions the site is ideal for swimming with children since the waters they are very calm.
17 00 Return to Puerto Villamil the tour operator will drop you off at your respective ho-tel.

Day 5 Tour to Volcan Sierra Negra and Volcan Chico and Navigation to Santa Cruz Island

07 00 The Naturalist guide of the National Park will pick you up from the hotel and then take the bus and go to the first stop, the Sierra Volcano.
Negra Here we will arrive and begin to climb to the caldera of the volcano 1h45 minutes of walking here we will be able to see beautiful landscapes, the western part of the is-land, Fernadina Island and the Bolivar channel, where they house the largest and most Galapagos animals.

Then we will continue our journey until we reach the Chico Volcano. During this walk we will be able to observe some fumaroles, different types of lava and beautiful land-scapes.
Then we will return to the starting point for two hours of walking
Return to Puerto Villamil the operator will drop you off at your hotel

Day 6 Daily tour to North Seymour and Paya Bachas

07 00 Departure from Puerto Ayora the Naturalist Guide of the National Park will pick you up from your hotel and then we will go to the Itabaca channel located 35 minutes by bus
There we will board the YATE NAUTILUS that will be waiting for us, then we will sail to-wards the North Seymour island (45 Mnt) of navigation.
Visit Seymour Island, here we will hike (50 minutes to 1 hour) to observe nesting Red-breasted Frigatebirds, nesting Blue-footed Boobies and the majestic land Iguanas in their natural state.
North Seymour is one of the most important islands to visit in the northern part of the islands since this island has a large colony of boobies and frigate birds that come to nest throughout the year.

Lunch on the yacht

In the afternoon we disembark at Bachas Beach, a small beach to snorkel and relax on the beach, here we can swim with sea lions and sea turtles that during the nesting sea-son (Nov to Feb) we can observe them on the beach.
We take a walk to a small lagoon where we can see flamingos and some endemic birds of the islands.
17 00 Return to Hotel

Day 7 Visit Tortuga Bay Beach and Darwin Station

08 00 The guide will pick you up from your hotel and eçthem we take a 50-minute walk during to the beach which we will observe Galapagos finches, pelikanos, marine igua-nas nesting and small reef sharks.
Lunch at the Restaurant
Visit the Darwin Sation Here we take a 40-minute walk to observe the Giant Tortoises in captivity, the marine iguanas in their natural habitat and the majestic Solitaire George who is embalmed in a special place, then we will visit a beautiful beach to relax.

Day 8 Visit los Gemelos and Tranfer to Baltra Airport

The guide will pick you up from your hotel and then take you to the twins, some large volcanic holes formed millions of years ago. We will take a short walk to observe finch-es feeding.
Finally the guide will leave you at the airport for your respective check inn
