About your trip

Galentine's Day is when women celebrate the importance of friendships, our female community, and all the gals we love. This year we are celebrating with a dance party!

Register now and invite all the women you know who need a night to release their inner dancing queen. We deserve to have fun even though we juggle serious adult things day in and day out.

This gathering is a safe space for women, trans, non-binary, and female-identifying people of all ages... 21 years and older.

NOTE: Your ticket price covers the cost of our venue, fun food, our amazing DJ, and our super-skilled bartender. 10% of the proceeds from this party will be donated to a local charity that improves women’s lives.

FAQs

What should I wear? Our theme this year is Pretty in Pink or RED HOT which is open to interpretation. The #1 rule at an A Brooks Gathering is always- you're the boss- so you should wear whatever makes you shine!

Where is it?  In the Oakland Mills Meeting House (5885 Robert Oliver Place, Columbia) across from LA Mart. There is plenty of free parking and it's centrally located in Columbia, Maryland. This establishment is handicap accessible.

Why no men? Galentine's Day is a new "holiday" that originated by the beloved character Leslie Knope (Parks&Rec) that centers women and their beautiful friendships. It's a sacred time to be in community together. This gathering is a safe space for women, trans, non-binary, and female-identifying people to dance and have fun with their friends.

Should I wear comfortable shoes...even if they're not cute? We definitely recommend the most comfy shoes possible! Who wants blisters? Being able to twist and shout and jump about is the priority.

Will I get sweaty? Probably. Dancing can be a workout! Wear layers, and consider taking Advil when you get home. (joking...kind of)

How do I get my physical ticket? No need for a ticket. You will get an email confirmation upon successful payment. You'll also get an email reminder a week before the event. In the lobby, you will check in and get a stamp (and a drink ticket) upon your arrival. Your name will be on our VIP list!

Can I buy tickets for my girlfriends? Sure! There is a space to add their names during check-out and they will be on our VIP Guest list when they arrive in the lobby. If you have 4 girlfriends who want to join you, you can get a discounted rate and you'll have a reserved table. You can share the release form with them in advance or they can sign the form when they arrive.

What is the "local charity" receiving the donation from tonight's proceeds? TBD

Can I get tickets at the door? Yes! They are a little more expensive and we may sell out, so don't wait if you can avoid it.

What should I do if it's sold out? Join the waitlist in case we release more tickets.
