On June 10, 2026, the Palau de la Música Catalana will host the world premiere of Seven Dreams of Gaudi, an ambitious symphonic choral work inspired by the life and legacy of Antoni Gaudí. Composed by Olivia Pérez-Collellmir and with a libretto by the poet Anna Gual, this musical creation is part of the events of Gaudí Year 2026, commemorating the centennial of the architect's death.
The work, structured in seven movements, explores themes such as faith, nature, love and pain, pillars in Gaudí's life trajectory. The concert will be conducted by Marin Alsop, and performed by the Philharmonia Orchestra together with three choirs of the Orfeó Català: the Cor de Cambra, the Cor Jove and the Cor de Noies.
The program will be completed with pieces by Arvo Pärt, in a unique evening that unites avant-garde, emotion and artistic tribute.
