After breakfast we'll take an exhilarating Aiguille du Midi cable car ride. In just 20 minutes you'll be on the top of Europe at 3,842 meters. For more than 60 years, this is the thing to do in Chamonix, a bucket list world attraction.

On the way back down, we'll stop at the midpoint - Plan de l’Aiguille. We'll make our way to Montenvers, for the absolute best hike of your life. Once we arrive in Montenvers, we will enjoy a quintessential mountain meal.

Just after lunch, we'll get a chance to admire the ever-mysterious panorama of the Mer de Glace glacier, the Drus, and the Grands Jorasses, peaks of renowned alpine climbing dreams. Afterwards we'll return to Chamonix aboard the 100 year old rack railway red rain, an experience on its own.

Today after breakfast we will travel to the town of Annecy. Dubbed the "Venice of the Alps", the winding cobblestone streets of the old town, lined by pastel houses and bright flower boxes will make you fall in love with this small French town. Equipped with electric mountain bikes, we'll ride the trails and enjoy breathtaking views of Lake Annecy and the whole valley.

After our ride you'll have time to have lunch and explore the old time on your own before heading back to Chamonix.

Today is a free day all to yourself. Explore the trails surrounding Chamonix, head in to town or just enjoy our chalet. After lunch there will be an optional paragliding experience.

Today we will start out with a morning trail run. Our guide knows the best trails for this running experience and will help us every step of the way. Alternating climbing, walking, running on uphills and downhills is physically and mentally difficult but so worth the effort to explore the mountains in a different way. After our run we will enjoy a picnic lunch in the mountains before heading to a local farm to see how cheese is made using time-honored methods.

This morning we will say goodbye to our chalet and Chamonix and depart for Geneva. On our way we will stop in the of Montreux. Montreux, Switzerland, is located on the northeastern shore of Lake Geneva, in the French-speaking region of Switzerland. Part of the Canton of Vaux, the city is set at the foot of the Alps and forms the center of the Montreux Riviera, famous for its scenery, mild microclimate, and as a playground for the rich and famous.

We will have time to visit Chillon Castle which sits on a rocky outcrop just offshore in Lake Geneva, less than 2 miles from downtown Montreux. The castle foundations date to the 12th century, when it was used as a summer home and strategic outpost of the House of Savoy. In the 1900s, the castle was meticulously restored to its early medieval state, and today it is one of the most visited castles in Europe. 

After visiting the castle we will have some free time to enjoy a lakeside lunch and explore the rest of the town before leaving for Geneva. 

Once in Geneva we will check into our hotel where we will be staying for the next three nights.

After breakfast we will collect our race packets and then have the day to explore the city as you like. Take a boat ride on Lake Geneva, do some shopping or perhaps go on a watch tour. 

Tonight we will meet up for a pre-race dinner.

RACE DAY!!! This is the day we've been waiting for! We will meet for a quick bite to eat before heading to the starting line. After the race you will once again have some free time exploring on your own. This evening we will enjoy a special celebratory dinner. 

This morning we will enjoy one final breakfast together before packing and saying our goodbyes.
