Our group meets in Germany at Frankfurt Airport [*] You will greeted by our German expert tour director. After being welcomed, we will board a waiting de-luxe motor coach and make our way to Kaiserswerth.
After arrival in Kaiserswerth, we will tour the Kaiserswerth Diakonie.
The Kaiserswerther Diakonie, founded in 1836 by pastor Theodor Fliedner and his wife Friederike, today is one of the major diaconal institutions in Germany.
On our tour we see the historic buildings, the church of the deaconess mother house and the nursing museum, and enjoy the ambience of the Disselhoff-Park. Following the tour we'll make our way into the city and have a look to the Fliednerhaus where the couple Fliedner and later also Florence Nightingale lived.
We enjoy our welcome dinner after a long day of travels and overnight in a hotel nearby.
[*] Tour participants make their own flight arrangements. We can help with booking your flight as well as pre-arrangements in Frankfurt in case you arrive early. A meeting point and time will be announced.
