Here’s a polished and clearer version highlighting the domestic flights, buses, and rental cars: --- The support we received from Leandro and his team was far beyond anything we expected. Our 9-week trip across Argentina and Chile involved multiple domestic flights, long-distance buses, and even rental cars — and they coordinated *everything* flawlessly. Every connection worked perfectly. Throughout the entire journey, they were always in touch with us, checking in, answering questions, and offering help whenever we needed it. Their attention to detail was exceptional, and any small issue that came up along the way was solved quickly and smoothly. We felt completely taken care of from start to finish. Leandro and his team made our trip not only stress-free, but truly enjoyable. We were in excellent hands the whole time.

A long, "bucket list" trip that covered culture, great food, great wines and wineries, great hotels and a very good glamping experience, boating, and just incredible nature with unforgettable views: lakes, soaring mountains, condors, pumas, guanacos, rheas, valleys, rivers, waterfalls, caverns, steppes, forests, glaciers, snow, and really strong winds. Logistics on air travel, pick-ups and transfers was excellent, we were lucky that all domestic flights went just fine. The tango dinner/show was good, better than most as it showed various types of tango dancing styles. Tour guides were all very good - friendly, respectful, on-time, very knowledgeable, engaging. Drivers also were very good - safe driving was the rule; and the vans used were all new or recent year models, comfortable and very well maintained. Communication with organizers generally went well via WhatsApp but their dynamic itinerary approach is simply not practical (you have to go to a web page and then click on the itinerary link to check the whole document for either updates like pick up times, changes to venues, flights, etc.) and it turns out that it was useless in many of the locations we were because there either was no cell service or web access, or it was marginal and hence accessing anything on the web was crawling slow if it went through at all. In summary, an extraordinary trip!

This was a great trip with lots of places to visit but also plenty of time to relax

Company was easy to plan with and provided a complete itinerary at reasonable cost in near-record time from the date they were contacted. They fell short on providing some contact information for guides, transfer agents, etc. and when problems occurred their 24/7 help line, as well as the 24/7 help lines of their sub-contractors were difficult to get useful answers outside of normal business hours. In that sense, the person who sold us the trip (Leandro) over-promised and Trips SouthAmerica under-delivered when real problems occurred. The most enjoyable or memorable part of our trip was by far the entire day that included Santa Cruz Winery was the best within our itinerary and possibly my "best travel day" in group and private travel to 189 countries over 40 years. The overall itinerary was well-paced and enjoyable. If I could take the trip again, here's what I'd ask the Company to do differently. Company fell down on three different airport transfers--being late on two, and a NO SHOW on one!! This is remarkable and just so unacceptable considering that we highly coordinated with them to assure just such problems would not happen. This greatly marred our overall impression of the Company--especially because of how many times I tried to assure just such HIGH-STRESS incidents wouldn't happen, and how many times Leandro assured me the Company was pre-coordinating with local vendors each day in advance of our travels, and that we didn't need and wouldn't be provided local contacts' information because it was their job and they would be so on top of each day's activities and their coordination of those events. The Compnay's 24/7 emergency number was sometimes not answered outside of normal M-F business hours, and the problem solving information was too late to effect the situations we had encountered. Unfinished business with Trips SouthAmerica is the refund owed to us for the NO-SHOW airport transfer. Leandro said we would receive a $75 refund for the transfer that was not provided. But we incurred and additional expense of having to pay US $35 directly to the cab driver. $75 + $35 = $110, and $110 does not even factor in the STRESS that we were put through THREE DIFFERENT TIMES on trips to the airport. Late arrival of transport for a day trip is completely different from late arrival and STRESS that occurs when faced with set airline flight departure times and the activities that must occur prior to getting on that flight. For the NO SHOW transfer, Leandro and Trips SouthAmerica seem to feel that making senior citizens run through airports, and crashing check-in and security lines, and running to a gate to be last on the aircraft are acceptable and should not be compensated. Leandro and I had a heated conversation that the proposed $75 refund for the missed transfer just gives us back our pre-paid portion, and does not consider our additional US $35 out-of-pocket expense, nor consideration of the STRESS we were placed under THREE DIFFERENT TIMES. A credit card refund of $250-$500 would be more appropriate and compassionate.

Good trip, with a small group. The guide know a lot about the area, so I exactly learnt a lot. Walking on the island was a beautiful experience too.
