The tours include a visit to the castles where our ancestors were held as prisoners of war and shipped throughout the Americas and world as chattel for centuries of brutal slavery. Ghana was a major hub for the human trafficking of Africans who were enslaved.

Breakfast and Dinner, where indicated on the final itinerary.  Lunch will be on your own during travel and tours daily.

*Fees include coach airfare from Chicago, all taxes, transportation to points of interest, tour site fees, hotel accommodations 4 star/ taxes, and airport arrival/departure transport. There are some venues that may require walking up to 45 minutes, however, Ghanaians walk a lot!!

Cancellation due to illness, trip interruption

RATES ARE PER PERSON BASED ON DOUBLE OCCUPANCY AND PRICING IS PER PERSON.

• Deposits of $300 for Adults are non-refundable once the trip is confirmed.. 
• Airfare is 100% non-refundable and refunds are per airline regulations and travel insurance
• If you cancel your booking more than 91 days prior to departure, the penalty is 50% of the trip price. 
• Within 90 days of departure, the penalty is 100%. 

To minimize any loss and to protect yourself during the trip, we highly recommend taking out a comprehensive insurance policy that covers cancellation.
