You will make an early road trip to Cape Coast (3 hours). You will stop at the Assin Manso Slave River site. This is where captured slaves had their last bath before being auctioned and marched to the Cape Coast Castle and Elmina Castle to await the ships to an unknown world. 

 At the Assin Manso slave river site, you will have your Traditional Ghanaian naming ceremony. 

Next, you will be transported to Cape Coast Castle, where it all began. You will have a site tour guide to take us through the dungeons where slaves were kept to await the ships. 

You will pass through the DOOR OF NO RETURN, where slaves exited and left their homeland. 

Today, THE DOOR OF RETURN RETURN  is called the DOOR OF RETURN awaiting the descendants of those who were forcefully taken. 

Next, you will be transported to Kakum National Park for a canopy walkway experience. This experience is for those who want to conquer their fears. 

Afterward, you will be transported to your hotel in Accra. 

After breakfast, you will be transported to a venue where your batik tie and dye-making experience will occur. 

You will be taken through the process of making hand-made batik tie and dye, and you will be given an opportunity to create and design your own batik fabric and take it home with you. 

Next,  you will be taken to the Accra art center for shopping ( you can purchase items like paintings, Ghanaian crafts, souvenirs, etc.)

You will have your lunch after shopping and be transported to your hotel to relax and rest for your nightlife experience. (Pick-up time will be communicated  to you)

After breakfast, you will be transported to the Eastern region of Ghana to enjoy the beautiful twin waterfalls from the Akuapem garden and visit the Umbrella, fertility rock, and Aburi botanical garden.

NOTE: Bring your sneakers and prepare to walk and climb through the mountain and cave caves to see the umbrella rock and wonderful three-headed palm tree. 

Also, you can come in a swimsuit or shorts if you want to get wet by the waterfalls. (optional)

Afterward, you will be transported to your hotel in Accra. 

After breakfast, you will be transported to Cedi Beads (krobo Odumase). There, you will learn how to make traditional Ghanaian beads and the various types of beads made in Ghana. 

Next, you will continue your journey to Akosombo (Volta Lake) to take a relaxing cruise on the Volta Lake and enjoy the beautiful scenery. There will be an opportunity to see and take pictures of the famous Adome bridge, which connects the Eastern region to the Volta region. 

You will have your lunch at Bridgeview Resort while you enjoy the mountainous view and the Volta Lake.

NOTE; Bring your swimsuits and shorts if you want to swim in the pool. 

Afterward, you will be transported to your hotel in Accra. 

After breakfast, guests can use the rest of the day to explore Accra, relax on the beach, or get much-needed rest for the New Year's Eve dinner party. 

Pick-up time for the dinner will be at 7 pm.
