You will make an early road trip to Cape Coast (3 hours). You will stop at the Assin Manso Slave River site. This is where captured slaves had their last bath before being auctioned and marched to the Cape Coast Castle and Elmina Castle to await the ships to an unknown world.
At the Assin Manso slave river site, you will have your Traditional Ghanaian naming ceremony.
Next, you will be transported to Cape Coast Castle, where it all began. You will have a site tour guide to take us through the dungeons where slaves were kept to await the ships.
You will pass through the DOOR OF NO RETURN, where slaves exited and left their homeland.
Today, THE DOOR OF RETURN RETURN is called the DOOR OF RETURN awaiting the descendants of those who were forcefully taken.
Next, you will be transported to Kakum National Park for a canopy walkway experience. This experience is for those who want to conquer their fears.
Afterward, you will be transported to your hotel in Accra.
