Day 1

Arrival at Kotoka International Airport

Airport pick up and transfer from Kotoka International Airport to your hotel for check-in. Get settled in and rest up and then enjoy a Welcome Dinner. Spend the rest of the day relaxing and enjoying the ambience of the hotel. Overnight in Accra.

Day 2

A Visit to Makola Market

After breakfast, get a quick overview of Accra as we head to Accra's iconic Makola Market to check out some of Ghana's indigenous food ingredients. Later, we'll visit a kenkey house to experience the preparation of this major corn staple unique to the Ga people. Overnight in Accra

A Coastal Tour to Ewe Land

After breakfast, we’ll take a tour to Keta for the delights of the coastal Ewe. Learn how to prepare the regional dishes such as, yakayake, abolo, Akple and Aborbitadi. Overnight in Keta.

Travel to Town of Wli

We’ll ease into the day then drive to Wli in the afternoon where we’ll check into a popular area boutique hotel. Overnight in Wli.


Hotel - Water Heights Hotel – a popular area boutique hotel where you’ll spend the night. 



Day 5

Wli Waterfalls & A Taste of Palm Wine

We begin today’s tour with a morning hike to the spectacular Wli Waterfalls thundering down from a height of 200 feet. Then we’ll visit a local palm wine tapper to learn about the practice and savour the vitamin-rich fresh wine. Overnight in Wli.

Experience the Legonglo or Kojan festive rice dishes

After breakfast, we join the Bakua local folks to go through the full process of legonglo’ or Kojan’, festive rice dishes. Overnight in Wli.

Day 7

Travel day from Bakua to Aburi

Today we take to the road as we make our way to Aburi and check into the hotel. Overnight is in Aburi.


Hotel - Little Acre Hotel or similar hotel. 


Day 8

Preparation of Fufu & Light soup & Abunubunu Dishes

After breakfast, we’ll tour Aburi Botanical Gardens, later joining up with some local folks to prepare the unique delicacies of Apapransan and Abunubunu’, a nutritious all-vegetable green soup. Overnight in Aburi.


Hotel - Little Acre Hotel or similar. Breakfast. 

Day 9

Departure Day: Back to Accra & Last Minute Shopping

We leave Aburi and head back to Accra where you'll have a chance to do some last minute souvenir shopping at the Arts Center. A farewell dinner at one of Accra’s top local restaurants will precede your transfer to Kotoka International Airport for your flight home.
