This trip will encompass a wide range of destinations within Accra, the capital city of Ghana. We will explore other regions such as the Central region and Eastern region.
This tour includes riding for extended amount of time (3hours) at times.
We will travel to region beyond Accra where roads are not always smooth.
Typically daily activities involve walking tours and site visits. There will be moderate hiking at Boti Falls. For those who enjoy nightlife, be prepared for an extra boost of energy.

2. TRAVEL INSURANCE
We require everyone to carry travel insurance on these trips. This protects you in case of emergency or in case you need to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances.
You will not be able to get any refund or credits from Renaissance Tours should you need to cancel 30 days or less before departure and would need to refer to your travel insurance. Initial deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable after 24 hours of booking.

You will be met at the kotoka international Airport, welcome host, and transported with your luggage to your Hotel in Accra.

later that evening, you will enjoy a welcome cocktail together with other participants and enjoy traditional highlife music in the heart of the city.
After your breakfast, you will explore Accra visiting the following place;

7. Buka restaurant to have your lunch (Ghanaian cuisine) .Budget $10 -$30 your lunch.
You will be transported to accommodation to enjoy the facilities.
After your breakfast, we will make an early start on our 3 hours road trip to capecoast. we will stop at assin manso slave river site. This is where captured slaves had thier last bath before being auctioned and marched to capecoast castle and Elimina castle.
Next, capecoast castle where it all began. we will have a site tour guide to take us through the DOOR OF NO RETURN where slaves exited and left their homeland.
Today ,the DOOR OF NO RETURN is called the DOOR OF RETURN to await the descendants of those who were forcefully taken.
Next, you will have your naming ceremony. This ceremony will not only immerse you into the culture but also connect you directly to your Ghanaian family that holds your new traditional name.
We will visit kakum national park. A preserved rain forest with a canopy walkway that is suspended above the ground on the tree top.
You will have your lunch at the local restaurant at the kakum national park (budget $10 -$20 for your lunch)
You will head to your hotel in capecoast after lunch and relax.
There will be a night pub/club crawl (optional)
After your breakfast you will be transported to brimsu Apewosika village where you will explore the culture of the people and give back to the community and kids in an educational mission.
Participants will spend half day with the community and kids by teaching ,impacting knowledge and dine with the kids.
You will be given a traditional dance and drumming lesson by AFODAT TROUPE.
Participants are encouraged to come along with educational materials like books, pencil, pens, eraser, crayons, school bags, clothes, story books, shoes, sandals ,biscuits, toffees,used or new clothes for the aged in the community etc.
After, you will journey back to your hotel in Accra to relax and enjoy the facilities in your hotel.
After your breakfast, you will be transported to the Eastern region of Ghana to enjoy the beautiful twin waterfalls flowing from the Akuapem garden. Visit the umbrella rock, three-headed palm tree, fertility rock, and Aburi botanical garden.
NOTE: Bring your sneakers and prepare to walk and walk and climb through the mountain and caves to see umbrella rock and wonderful Three headed palm trees.
Also, carry along your swimsuits get wet, or swim in the waterfalls (optional)
You will return to your hotel to enjoy the facilities.
After your breakfast, you will be transported to Accra art centre where you can purchase Ghanaian crafts, paintings, souvenirs etc. to take home .(optional)
After , you will be transported to your hotel to relax and enjoy the facilities in your hotel.
Later in the evening, you will be pick up at your hotel at 7:00 pm to a venue, for your Farewell Dinner (Attire is African wear)
After breakfast, you will pack, and checkout.
Guests can use the rest of the day to explore Accra, relax on the beach, or get much-needed rest.
Your luggage will be held and kept at a safe place until 5:30
