This will also allow us to price our packages competitively and allows you to make monthly payments on your vacation. However, will provide a travel credit if the company suspends the trip.
2. Payment of the deposit indicates you have read and agreed with the terms and conditions.
3. Reservations without payment for 2 consecutive months are subject to cancelation due to non-payment.

Travel Insurance
We require everyone to carry travel insurance on these trips. This protects you in case of emergency or in case you need to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances.
You will NOT be able to get any refund or credits from Renaissance Tours should you need to cancel 30 days or less before departure and would need to refer to your travel insurance. Initial deposits are non-refundable after 24 hours of booking.

Maximum 2 guests per bedroom for all accommodation types
Each room is an ensuite bathroom
$200 per person off if a 1 bedroom is shared with 2 people, max 2 people per room. Must book separately, both deposits must be paid by the deadline date. Must find your own roommate if choosing this option. If your room partner cancels your double occupancy discount will be rescinded and the full single occupancy price will be applied
The custom clothing has a price value of up to $60.

You will be met at the Kotoka International Airport, welcomed by your host, and transported with your luggage to your accommodation in Accra.
Settle in, relax, and enjoy the new environment.
Later that evening, you enjoy a welcome cocktail together with other participants and enjoy traditional highlife music in the heart of the city.
After your breakfast, you will explore Accra visiting the following places:
1. Ghana national museum
2. Art Centre for drumming and dance lesson
3. Independence Square
4. Dr W. E. B DuBois Museum
5. Makola market
6. Buka Restaurant to have your lunch (Ghanaian cuisine). Budget $10-$30 for your lunch.
You will return to your accommodation to enjoy the facilities.
After your breakfast, you will be transported to the Eastern region of Ghana to enjoy the beautiful twin waterfalls flowing from the Akuapem garden. Visit the umbrella rock and Aburi botanical garden.
NOTE: Bring your sneakers and prepare to walk and climb through the mountains and caves to see the umbrella rock and wonderful Three headed palm trees.
You will return to your accommodation to enjoy the facilities
Box Breakfast will be provided on the bus because we will make an early start on our 3 hours road trip to Cape Coast. We will stop at the Assin Manso slave river site. This is where captured slaves had their last bath before being auctioned and marched to Cape Coast Castle and Elimina Castle.
Next, Cape Coast Castle where it all began. we will have a site tour to take us through the dungeons where slaves were kept to await the ships. We will pass through the DOOR OF NO RETURN where slaves exited and left their homeland.
Today, the DOOR OF NO RETURN is called the DOOR OF RETURN to await the descendants of those who were forcefully taken.
Next, you will have your naming ceremony. This ceremony will not only immerse you into the culture but also connect you directly to your Ghanaian family that holds your new traditional name.
We will visit Kakum National Park. A preserved rainforest with a canopy walkway that is suspended above the ground on the tree tops.
You will have your lunch at the local restaurant at the Kakum National Park (budget $10 -$20 for your lunch ).
You will journey back to your accommodation in Accra
Afternoon your breakfast you will be transported to Cedi bead (Krobo Odumase)to learn how to make your own beads and also get to know the different kinds of beads in Ghana.
Next, you will continue your journey to Akosombo (Volta Lake) to take a relaxing cruise on the volta lake and enjoy the beautiful scenes. There will be an opportunity to see and take pictures on the famous Adome Bridge.
Lastly, you will have lunch at Bridgeview Resort.
NOTE: Bring your swimsuit and shorts. (swimming pool entrance fee is included but optional)
After your breakfast, you will be transported to the venue where your batik-making experience will take place. You will be taken through the process of making handmade batik fabric and you will get the opportunity to create, design your own batik fabric to take home with you.
Next stop at the Accra Art Centre. where you can purchase Ghanaian crafts, paintings, and souvenirs.
You will continue to Azmera restaurant for your lunch (budget $15 -$20 for your lunch)
You will head back to your accommodation to rest for your Accra late-night life experience.
After breakfast, guests can use the rest of the day to explore Accra, relax on the beach, or get much-needed rest.
Pick up time at the accommodation for your farewell dinner is 6:00 PM.
You have the rest of the day to pack, do your last-minute shopping or get much-needed rest before you head to Airport.
Check out time at the accommodation is 12:00 pm.
Your luggage will be held and kept at a safe place until 5:30 pm.
Airport drop-off time is 6:00 pm
