Airport pick up and transfer from Kotoka International Airport to your hotel for check-in and overnight in Accra. Welcome dinner with cultural performance. Overnight in Accra.

Accra City Tour with visits to Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park and Mausoleum, W.E.B. Dubois Memorial Centre (for Pan-African history), the National Museum of Ghana and Arts Centre and Crafts Bazaar.& more! Overnight in Accra.

Today, we’ll visit Shai Hills Reserve, home to antelopes, baboons, several species of birds and butterflies. Get ready to hike up the hills to check out some of the caves. Then, we'll continue on to a riverfront restaurant in Akuse for lunch. Late afternoon, e boat cruise on River Volta, Overnight at Akosombo.

Hotel - Volta Hotel 

This morning, we head to Tafi Atome Monkey Sanctuary and Cultural Village. Walk in the rainforest with a local guide as you look for families of Mona monkeys that abound in the forest. Feel free to feed them some ripe bananas and you’ll have some great photo opportunities. After a good time in the sanctuary, we'll continue to witness the spectacular Wli waterfalls. See all kinds of butterflies and enjoy the songs of birds on your 30-minute walk through the riverine forest. Overnight in Wli. 

Hotel - Water Heights Boutique Hotel or similar hotel

After breakfast, we'll leave for Kumasi and make a brief stop at Bobiri Butterfly Sanctuary (if it’s between November and March). You'll also encounter local Ghanaians engaged in their economic activities including food processing and local distilleries. After lunch, we'll take a tour of Kumasi cultural center before checking into your hotel. Overnight in Kumasi.

Hotel: Golden Beam Hotel or similar 

This morning we shall drive up north of Ghana to visit the Buabeng-Fiema Monkey Sanctuary to interact with another species of Mona monkeys and the rare black-and-white Colobus monkeys. Then, we continue on to Mole National Park and join the afternoon safari in the 4840 square kilometer reserve, home to 93 mammal species including elephants, warthogs, buffalos, baboons, antelopes as well as reptiles and several bird species. Overnight in Mole. 

Hotel - Zaina Lodge.

Rise and shine for an early morning walking safari with park site guides. Return by 10am for breakfast. Spend the afternoon at your leisure in your room or poolside. After an early dinner, we'll join the people of the Mognori community for a typical traditional Gonja drumming and dancing performance by-the-fireside. Overnight in Mole. 

Hotel - Zaina Lodge.

We head to Kintampo late in the morning for a delightful afternoon at Kintampo Waterfalls, experiencing the refreshing waterfalls and a daring walk across the hanging bridge above the waterfall pool. After lunch, we'll continue to Tanoboase Sacred Grove to experience forest life at sunset. Overnight in Techiman. 

Hotel - Encome Hotel or similar hotel.

After breakfast, we return to Accra where you'll check into your hotel. The rest of the evening is at your leisure. Overnight in Accra. 

. Hotel - Fiesta Royale Hotel or similar hotel.

The last day of your visit is open for last minute souvenir shopping at the Arts Center.  Return to hotel for check out. Enjoy an early farewell dinner in one of Accra’s top local restaurants and then we'll head to Kotoka International Airport for your flight home.
