* Head to the Kwame Nkrumah Monument, Ghana's 1st Prime Minister and President 

 * Visit civil rights leader W.E.B. Du Bois Estate.  The Centre is located on immaculate grounds of serene beauty, tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the metropolis, Accra, 

* We'll visit Makola market  and experience buying goods as a true Ghanaian 

* Welcome Dinner Tonight! 

* Evening of Ghanain vibes and traditional cuisine 

Road Trip to  Aburi Botanical Garden & Boti Waterfalls!

* We make the 30 minute journey to our 1st Stop: 

Aburi Botanical Gardens, Aburi 32km (20mi) north of Accra 

*  Snake through the Akwapim hills, learn about the different botanical names for different species and their medicinal purposes to the locals.

* We leave the Gardens and head to  Boti Falls (50 minute travel time)

* Boti Falls is a twin waterfall located at Boti in Manya Krobo in the Eastern Region of Ghana. Here, Travelers will see these falls which the locals believe they are male and female. 

 * Visit Umbrella Rock and three headed palm tree
* Enjoy a delicious lunch before making the return journey back to Accra

Road Trip to Kumasi- Asante Region!

* Journey to Kumasi- Southern Region, 4-5 hour road trip from Ghana

* Explore the three famous craft villages in Ashanti. Ahwiaa, the woodcarvers’ village, Ntonso, the home of Adinkra and Bonwire, the Kente weaving village

*  Yaa Asantewaa Shrine (Yaa Asantewaa was a female warrior was protected the Golden Stool from the British and lead the Asante kingdom to war in the 1900s) .

* Visit Adanwomase well known for the traditional Kente cloth weaving. Meet with weavers to witness their skills in producing the clothes adorned some of which is a preserve for the Ashanti Kings, Ntonso - noted for its indigenous artisans whose expertise lie in Adinkra textile printing using traditional symbols that express the spiritual, moral, political and socio-cultural philosophies of the Akan people.  

* Check in to Hotel in Kumasi

*  Kumasi for a city historic tour visiting the Manhyia Palace and the Palace Museum which provides a good insight into Ashanti culture and traditions, and the history of the Ashanti Kingdom which is over 300 years old. It for a good glimpse into the powerful ancient Ashanti Empire and its past kings.  

*Participate in a traditional Asante naming ceremony 

* Receive your Asante name based on the day you were born

*Receive your new Asante name on Kente script and a certificate

Road trip to Cape Coast, 4 hour drive 

 
* Breakfast at Lodging  

* Today we make the journey to Cape Coast 

* Cape Coast Castle which was originally started by the Swedes in 1652.

* It served as the headquarters and seat of the British colonial government until 1877. 

* One of the many ports were the African Diaspora  in West Africa began

* Go on a comprehensive tour of the Castle, the slave dungeons and the West African Heritage Museum, and the negotiation hall where our ancestors were bargained for and sold. 

*Check in to Hotel in Elmina for a night or rest and relaxation 

Adventure in Cape Coast!

*Breakfast at Lodging and Check out from Elmina Hotel 

 *Visit Kakum National Park. 

* Go on a morning walk of the “Kuntan Trail” with its countless trees with medicinal properties. 

*For the young, at heart experience, the “Canopy Walkway” suspended 100 feet from the forest ground for a panoramic view of the flora and fauna of the remaining vestiges of the rainforest. 

*Break for lunch 

*Make the 4 hour journey back to Accra

It's the last full day in Ghana, enjoy the day at leisure to explore on your own.
