For guests who are interested in sewing some African attire, we can arrange a meeting with a tailor to take your measurements and styles for sewing. 

The first destination after wii be The Bonwire Kente weaving village. This is a village located in Juaben, Kumasi. This is where the popular Ghanaian local cloth “kente” originated from. It is also one of the leading kente weaving locations in Ghana. Kente is a local cloth made up of different patterns, colors, and designs, which is worn on special occasions like festivals, weddings, naming ceremonies, as well as the enstoolment of Kings, Queens, and Chiefs.

After that, the next stop will be The Ntonsu Craft Village is a community where artisans hand-stamp patterns on cotton cloth to make Adinkra textiles. Black-on-black and blank-on-red Adinkra cloth is worn on funerals and solemn occasions. You will have an opportunity to learn how to make black dye from tree bark. You can make your Adinkra sash to take home. 

Overnight Stay in Kumasi 

Manhyia Palace is the home of the King of Asante. It is a palace that upholds the heritage and values of centuries of Ashante culture. It is the administrative headquarters of the “Asante Kingdom”. The palace holds the history of the Asantes since before the arrival of the British in the Gold Coast during colonial rule till date. 

The Prempeh II Jubilee Museum, popularly known as Kumasi National and Cultural Center, is a national workshop for crafts, art performances, and a museum. Nana Prempeh II established the museum, which is well noted for portraying Asante culture and history. At the museum, visitors learn about the lifestyle and beliefs of the Ashantes.  

And also the Okomfo Anokye Sword Site, a sacred site to the people of Asante. It is the site where Okomfo Anokye, a high priest in Ghana, planted an unmovable sword known as “the sword of unity and strength” to aid in uniting Akans in Ghana. We will visit the Kakum National Park and walk on the canopy walkway, which is made up of bridges suspended in the air, supported by the big trees in the forest. The Canopy Walkway is suspended 11 to 40 meters above the ground, and bridges give a bird's eye view as well as a breathtaking view of the forest. 

  Boat ride at Beyin, which leads us to Nzulenzu. This boat ride is about 15 to 20 minutes and has many beautiful natural sites to see while on the river.  

 Nzulenzu is a village built on stilts located in the heart of Beyin, a few kilometers away from Takoradi city. The people of Nzulezu live on a lake that links to the ocean along the coast. This tour site is very interesting as tourists get to learn the history and culture of the people living in that community, and experience their lifestyle through a walking tour.

 Elmina Castle was established by the Portuguese in 1482 as São Jorge da Mina (St. George of the Mine) in Elmina, Ghana (formerly the Gold Coast). Elmina Castle was the first trading post built on the Gulf of Guinea, and is the oldest European building in existence below the Sahara. It was first established as a trade settlement but later became. Today, Elmina Castle is a popular historical destination for tourists seeking to connect with their heritage and a powerful reminder of the history of the slave trade. 

 We will then move to the Cape Coast Castle which our last destination for the day. Here we are looking forward to learn more history and also see the gate of return. 

 Assin Manso Slave Camp is a pure historical site where tourists are briefed on the slaves who were taken through the camp for their last bath and later to be auctioned before they were taken to the slave forts. Slaves who were not selected were sometimes shot dead and buried in a hole together. This is a sacred site where people believe the spirits of many ancestors reside and can be felt. 

On this day, guests can meet with the tailor to pick up Clothes and if there are any alterations to be done on the clothes, they will be done.

Kwame Nkrumah Mausoleum also known as the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park. It is the last resting place of the first President of Ghana, Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah. This museum is dedicated to him to honor his dedication in liberating Ghana, formally known as Gold Coast, from colonial rule. The Museum houses the personal effects and publications of Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah and pictures showing his life history with some of the most famous people of his time.    

The Arts and Crafts market can also be simply known as the Arts Center. There are so many different stalls selling different varieties of Ghanaian inspired arts and crafts and this is one of the cool places to shop in Accra. There is so much to see and buy from woven Kente cloth, wooden sculptures to earrings and other fashion accessories matched with the latest in African Attire fashion from all over Ghana.  

Kwame Nkrumah commissioned the Independence Square, also known as Black Star Square, which coincided with the visit of Queen Elizabeth II. Independence Square is a vast, empty expanse of concrete overlooked by spectator stands that can seat about 30,000 people. The Independence Arch was an inspiration to other African countries vying for independence and the Flame of African Liberation. The roundabout before the square contains, in the center, the Black Star Gate, also known as the Black Star Monument, which was built in 1961. The vast area, built under Kwame Nkrumah, is designed for huge events and military marches, and commercial events such as concerts and fashion shows, which take place throughout the year.  

 On the last day, guests will have some time for last minute preparations like exploring the city on their own (depending on your time of departure), packing, hotel checkout, and receiving covid test results before checking in at the airport for final departure.
