I submitted a review elsewhere but I would reiterate that Kofi was the best tour guide who was prompt, easy-going, and we trusted him every step of the way. The naming ceremony is an experience I'll never forget. Getting dressed in traditional dress, traditional ceremony, washing off feet, blessing, and getting my name was the best. We were given our sash embroidered with our names and our certificate with name meaning. I purchased the kente cloth that I wore and so happy with that. The ride to the central region was long and bumpy but I'll do it again with Kofi as our guide. It's like he knew the roads by heart. The first and last bath was such an experience!! Emotional to walk the path the slaves walked and bathe where they had to bathe...wow! By the time we got to the Cape Coast Castle, we were very tired but glad we got a chance to see it but I recommend not joining a large group when arriving at the castle so you can hear and experience the journey. 4 hour journey back to Accra for a late dinner. Doing tours is a must and Nyonkopa is the best way to do it. I look forward to future tours with this company and thank you for blessing us with Kofi.

Nyonkopa Tours helped make our first visit to Ghana a great success!! Kofi was an EXCELLENT host you picked us up on time each day and ensured we were comfortable throughout the day. Our first Tour was the Accra City Tour and omg!! it's a-must-do tour of ours your first visit. Jamestown walking Tour that was apart of this tour was long and impactful and exactly what we needed. Kofi was so helpful and took pictures and videos when, educated is in to interact respectfully with locals, taught us greetings and so much more. Our next Tour with Kofi as out host was to Cape Coast, Central Region where we learned about the first and last bath of the slaves journey, the naming ceremony which was an amazing experience that will stick with us forever and hoping we can come back to extend our gifts and talents where needed and lastly the Cape Coast Castle. I had a bad cough on the ride down and Kofi stopped at the pharmacy so I could get medicine. Each night, be made sure we had what we needed whether it was a case of water, ATM, or dinner, Kofi was the absolute best host and I am looking forward to coming back to have him as our host again. Highly, highly recommend this company for A+ Tour experience. Again, I'm not sure i would have had a time we did without them. Thank you thank you thank you!!

I did a Waterfalls Tour thru Nyonkopa Eco Tours. It was exactly what I was looking for (a day of outdoor adventure). My driver (Samson) & guide (Micheal) where great. The pick-up was on time and the vehicle was comfortable. They were easy to talk to, fun and gave me lots of knowledge about Ghanian culture. They were excellent photographers as well. We visited Adom Waterfall, Asema Waterfall and the famous Boti Waterfalls. At Boti, I also did the boat ride. We stopped for a quick breakfast on the way. And they took me to a local spot for a delicious lunch on the way back to Accra. I also appreciate Nyonkopa being flexible. I changed my mind the night before this excursion (originally signed up for Boti, Aburi Botanical Gardens + Cocoa Farm). It was no problem to make the change. I highly recommend Nyonkopa Eco Tours!

Here’s a draft you ✨ Review of Nyankopa Travels – Ghana Experience ✨ My trip to Ghana with Nyankopa Travels was absolutely wonderful—truly a life-changing experience! In just ten days, we experienced more than I could ever fully name. From the powerful naming ceremony in Kumasi that connected us back to our ancestral roots, to standing at the moving Slave River, to learning at the W.E.B. Du Bois Museum and Kwame Nkrumah Museum & Memorial Park—every moment was deeply meaningful. We also witnessed the breathtaking beauty of Ghana at the Waterfall and enjoyed comfort and hospitality at the African Regent Hotel, which I really loved. Nyankopa Travels curated every detail with care, blending history, culture, and connection. This was not just a vacation—it was a journey of spirit, legacy, and discovery. If you are ever considering Ghana, don’t think twice—go with Nyankopa Travels. It will change your life the way it changed mine. 🌍❤️ Christian Kweku was a perfect guide. Knowledgeable and accommodating.

The trip was very informative and I learned a lot about my history. I am pleased to have experienced some of my history. The drives to the different regions were long and uninhabited. I was taken aback about the facilities that were available. The host Christian, was very personable and he insured that all of our needs were met to the best of his ability. He has the patience of Job from the Bible. He was very informative and knew the history of the country. Thank you again Christian. Ms. Pam.
