Namaste in the Northwest! This fall, join Natalie Magee of Yogi Magee Expeditions and Margaret Randolph for a 4-night, 5 day retreat at the gorgeous Dancing Spirit Ranch in Northwest Montana. Located 6 miles southwest of Whitefish, the Dancing Spirit Ranch is just a short drive from Glacier National Park, Whitefish Mountain Resort, and many pristine lakes. Dancing Spirit Ranch was built for comfortable relaxation and enjoyment. You will be living in one of three buildings, each designed to offer a genuine Montana experience. There are five ponds to explore and kayaks and canoes for floating on the largest, 14-acre pond. There is a forest to wander through with five miles of gentle terrain perfect for a meditative walk. Hidden on the property is a walled garden filled with flowers, willow-covered walls and teak benches placed throughout to invite stillness and discovery to the visitor.
Beyond the property, just 22 miles away is the stunning Glacier National Park. The park encompasses over 1 million acres and includes parts of two mountain ranges, over 130 named lakes, more than 1,000 different species of plants, and hundreds of species of animals. We will have arranged transportation to spend a day or two exploring the park where we'll choose an appropriate all-levels hike and enjoy a packed picnic lunch along the way. If you choose to fly in to Glacier Park International Airport (FCA) it's only five miles away and an airport pickup can be arrange. You also have the option of renting a car if you choose not to drive so that you have freedom to explore the area at your leisure. The town of Whitefish is only 6 miles away and is filled with shops and eateries for which to explore as well.
So come rest, relax, adventure and rejuvenate on this one-of-a-kind luxury rustic retreat. Once you arrive your only worry will be where to shop and what sights you want to capture with your camera. October is the perfect time of year because the park crowds have dwindled and hiking trails will be less crowded. Mountain weather is unpredictable in the fall so we could have an 80 degree day, perfect for a swim or kayak or we could have 40 degree weather which will make for an excellent bonfire and hot chocolate/wine sipping evening. We will be the only guests at the ranch and you may participate in as much or as little of the retreat as you like. This trip will be an opportunity to explore stunning Montana and see all the area has to offer!
