Elevation Guides cancellation policy
All guests must read, agree, and sign the waiver in the guide’s presence on the first day in order to participate. Review it here
Once partial or full payment has been made for a trip, Elevation Guides blocks the date(s) in our calendar, organises staffing, and declines other bookings. When applicable, we may engage in contracts and reservations for your trip requiring non-refundable payments. Our complete cancellation policy is here.
Rescue insurance is mandatory on Elevation Guides international trips, and highly recommended for Canadian departures.
We also recommend travel insurance and a CFAR (cancel for any reason) policy in case of injury or illness preventing you from joining your trip. Elevation Guides CANNOT process refunds.
Elevation Guides recommends Global Rescue as their policies cover the backcountry and sporting nature of our trips. You'll find a complete description here.
Personal travel Accident insurance is recommended to assist you in the event of medical emergency. Ensure it covers backcountry activities as emergency services and hospitalisation can be very expensive. We have partnered with Global Rescue, they offer a broad range of travel insurance options and include the types of backcountry activities we do.
Trip Changes
Elevation Guides reserves the right to modify routes or cancel in the event of poor weather or other conditions. We will only make alterations and substitutions as necessary to improve the trip quality or to accommodate the safety, comfort, convenience, and well-being of our travellers. In this event, we’ll always substitute an equal or better option.
