About this trip

Glamp-ing: A form of camping involving accommodation and facilities more luxurious than those associated with traditional camping.

*please note this trip has several booking options. The Bestie is a price per person for two people sharing a bed. Each person needs to sign-up individually. The solo option is for those coming solo. Do not choose the bestie option unless you have a friend sharing a bed with as random people will not be roomed together*

Calling all desert lovers! Do want to visit Canyonlands Needles District outside of Moab, Utah, but don't want the hassle of trying to reserve a campsite? Do you want to camp, but don't want to worry about setting up a tent, or fussing with all the other gear associated with camping from stoves to tables and chairs? Are you a fan of solar lighting and star gazing with no light pollution, yet want to be close to a main road and modern amenities like a shower and toilet?

Then this Glampcation Retreat is for you.

I have found the perfect retreat spot at the newly opened Glamping Canyonlands which is conveniently located outside of the Needles District of Canyonlands National Park. The Needles District of Canyonlands National Park will provide stunning scenery and sweeping vistas, world class hiking and climbing; and all this on the path less traveled and without heavy crowds.

The ever-popular Arches/Moab area is also fantastic. Here the restaurants, shopping, mountain biking, arches, scenic wonders and fantastic cliffs justify the heavy crowds and faster pace. Regardless of your preferences, our glampground gives you the best opportunity to experience both of these awe-inspiring places!

Glamping Canyonlands takes the “rough’n it” out of the camping equation, outfitting their guests with a luxury off-grid camping experience. Guests will have spacious bell tents and private decks, furnished with queen-sized beds and inside seating. Enjoy the comforts of modern living while taking advantage of the great outdoors.

There is a flushing toilet and hot shower as well as private fire rings with a barbecue grill attached for open campfire cooking.

As peace and privacy are important, tents are spaced as far apart as possible.

Cancellation Policy

Updated Booking Terms and Conditions due to COVID-19:

Updated COVID Cancellation Policy: You understand that the COVID-19 pandemic may still be a consideration during the year 2022 and understand your risk and liability with attending this retreat. It's strongly recommended to purchase retreat insurance to protect your investment in this retreat or forfeit the right to a refund due to having to cancel for any COVID -19 related illnesses for yourself or family member. You understand you are urged to undergo COVID-19 testing before the retreat and will be required to sign a COVID-19 waiver before attending the retreat if COVID-19 is still a consideration in 2022.

Travel insurance is available upon booking through a private insurance company. No refunds of any kind and all payments are final so if you think you might need to cancel for any reason please purchase the travel insurance to protect your trip.

Guests are not required to be vaccinated prior to attending a retreat, but it is strongly recommended. It is also not required but recommended guests take a COVID test prior to attending the retreat to ensure all guests safety and health.

*Yogi Magee LLC reserves the right to refuse service to anyone at owners sole discretion. If you are removed from the trip you may receive a full or partial refund at my discretion on a case by case basis*

Food is not provided

Please note, in order to keep costs low, no food except a Welcome Charcuterie dish will be provided. Logistically to cook and try to keep food cold and fresh for 8-10 guests is not practical. It is also a challenge accommodating to food allergies and preferences. Each guest will be excepted to provide their own meals and I will send out a list of suggestions prior to the retreat. There is a communal kitchen that is available for use as well as a grate over your personal fire pits at your tents that you can use for grilling. Guests will need to bring their own firewood and small propane for camping stoves, but propane is provided for the communal grill.

This is a true Glamping Retreat!

You will be able to experience a true Glamping retreat where there is no electricity, no WiFi and limited cellular service. This retreat is meant to kick start a love of camping while taking away the hassle of brining items that would normally be required like a tent, sleeping bag, camping stove and more. If you don't like sleeping in a tent while listening to the rustle of the wind against it's doors, having no AC or ceiling fans, or cooking your own meals, then this retreat is NOT for you. This is rustic luxury camping and it will take you out of your comfort zone if you've never camped before, but it will be so worth it!

Canyoneering and Guided Hike included!

We will have two days of activities with Clapper Adventures. One day will be the canyoneering and the next will be a guided hike in the Needles District. Tip and cost of both excursions included. We will carpool to meet the guide for activities. If you do not want to attend that is OK, but due to the pricing for participants needed for the activities to run, you will not be refunded should you choose not to participate. This ensures the guides are guaranteed a set rate and our activities can run as scheduled.

Pricing Break-down to note before bookin

Since each tent has a queen bed (king in the sunset) I have broken the pricing down based on single or double occupancy. You will not be forced to share a bed with anyone unless you choose the bestie option. Please note the bestie option pricing is based on a per person so you will sign up with the assumption that your friend will be signing up as well and you will share a bed together.

If you are coming solo or you do not want to share a bed with your friend then you will book the solo option.

The guest count for this retreat will range from 6-12 based on double or single occupancy. A minimum of 6 is needed for this retreat to run.

This was probably one of the most magical experiences of my life ~ a dose of medicine only the universe knew I needed, served with a spoonful of sugar, downpours of hail and rain, breathtaking experiences, bellies full of laughter, and the birth of lifelong friendships. My only recommendation is to go all in, without any expectations and an open heart & mind. Bring your bestie or go for it alone ~ Natalie will provide all the planning, and the universe will take it from there. I can’t wait to book my next retreat with Yogi Magee!

I had the opportunity and pleasure of joining Natalie and 11 other amazing women on this retreat. I am a working mom with young kids, and I can't even begin to explain how amazing it was to just show up and have all the plans and decisions made and to just sit back and go with the flow. That alone was worth it! But Telluride took it a step further. If you have never been, it's an absolute must. The scenery is unlike any other mountain town in Colorado. It was absolutely breathtaking and Natalie was the best guide. She has intimate knowledge of the area so took us on some great hikes, and we got to see some amazing off the beaten path spots that I would have never been able to find on my own. We did yoga on mountaintops, biked to a brewery through the valley, were able to walk to trails and town from our lodging, and had a chef cook our meals one night too. I am a pretty extreme introvert so I wasn't sure how I would do in the company of people I didn't know well, but the women on the retreat were all so welcoming and kind, it was easy to form connections on night 1. This retreat ended up being the adventure I didn't know I needed in my life, with women I'll never forget. Thank you Natalie, for everything! I can't wait to join you on a future adventure!

I had a wondering time on the Telluride Ales and Adventures retreat earlier this month. Wind and rain affected our Via Ferrata and Paragliding plans, but thankfully Natalie was able to reschedule everything on the fly so we all got to do the things we really wanted to do while in Telluride! The group was super fun and flexible (both physically and mentally) so we enjoyed 3 great hikes, 4 great yoga sessions, 1 great brewery bike ride and a fun group dinner with Natalie's chef friend. Accommodations were wonderful and close to everything - I wouldn't have changed a thing about this retreat!

I went on this Telluride trip solo and I'm so glad I did. Although I was nervous, I was quickly calmed by the authenticity of Natalie, Michelle and Christy. They made me feel comfortable and included! When things didn't go as planned with our via ferrata and paragliding (wheather), Natalie made every effort to get it rescheduled. I always had the option to join in the activities or have alone time. The flexibility in this trip is great and every detail was planned out for us! Telluride is beautiful and offers many great adventures. From the woman I met, the hikes, yoga sessions, VF, chef experience, tears and belly laughter, I will never forget this trip!

I have gone on two retreats now with Natalie and plan on doing a third (and possibly 4th) next year. The experiences she puts together and the people that she attracts to these retreats are what make them exceptional. Her approach to yoga and adventure is all about self empowerment, you won't find any snobby yoga egos here. If you don't do yoga regularly, you will be fine. If you don't hike regularly, you will be fine. Natalie creates an environment where you feel comfortable, safe and empowered. If you are on the fence, just book it. You will walk away from it with so much more than any other vacation. You will come away from the retreat realizing things about yourself you never knew you were capable of. You will not be disappointed!
