Itinerary

Arrive at Kichwa Lodge
Day 1 - travel

On the first day, we will greet you in one of two locations, depending on how you choose to travel to the Oriente.

We can arrange for a pick-up at the Francisco de Orellana Airport in Coca or, if you take land transportation, we will meet you in Sushufindi.

For arrival by air, our day will begin in the late morning. For arrival by bus, we recommend coming the day prior or traveling overnight so we can get an early morning start.

From Coca, we will drive to Tierres Orientales (2 hours) where we will board our motor boat and travel downriver to the Kichwa Lodge (2 hours 40 minutes), located outside of Playas de Cuyabeno. If you arrive at Sushufindi, we will leave directly by boat for a 1 hour trip down river.

We will have the late afternoon to rest and relax after our day of travel.
