Reviews

Kichwa lodge, run by Edgar from the Kichwa indigenous community, was an amazing experience. Edgar was extremely knowledgeable about the flora and fauna, in particular his bird identification skills were incredible. The chef prepared wholesome delicious meals and everyone on staff were helpful and friendly. It’s quite far into the Amazon and I felt I had an authentic experience, including swimming in an Amazonian river! The other highlights were the early morning and night river cruises to have the opportunity to see the animals active at that time. A wonderful experience overall! Bring binoculars and download a bird identification app.
