Social Zen Retreats seek to curate retreats that embrace authenticity, creativity, and balance
We want to create retreats in beautiful locations using our background in hospitality, dance, yoga, wellness, culinary, and wine to bring you an experience that will leave you feeling inspired to be your true and WHOLE self.
Social Zen Retreats
were created by a group of friends who were tired of small talk and wanted something more out of life. A well balanced life of creativity and wellness. To live well, make truthful connections, create, and be inspired by all the wonderful individual stories. We want to create retreats in beautiful locations using our background in hospitality, dance, yoga, wellness, culinary, and wine to bring you an experience that will leave you feeling inspired to be your true and WHOLE self.

Meta Setiawan is an art lover and a traveling yogi. Her physical journey into yoga started long ago and she walked away from it many times. However, somehow she had always came back to the mat and was reunited with the Yogic values in the last few years.
Meta has had many careers in this lifetime. She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems, then worked as an IT auditor for several years. She then decided to pursue her first love of Dance and that eventually led to a Master’s in Arts Management and a career as an Arts Manager.
Through her self-discovery journey, she found that love is the most important force in this word, especially love towards ourselves. She wishes to share this message and create a community of love through Yoga, Meditation and the creative arts. In December 2015 Meta decided to leave the working world to fully commit to serve the Community of Love and has since been teaching Yoga in Bandung (Indonesia) and Singapore.
Meta loves dancing, traveling, going to see performances, and being in Nature. She also draws Mandalas and feels a deep connection with the Universe when she’s drawing her Mandalas.
