Last winter, we tried something new. This winter, we GO BEYOND.
Last year, we hosted our very first SKISISTERS Off-Piste Trip. The idea came directly from our community: so many girls told us they would LOVE to explore beyond the slopes, but simply didn’t know how, where to start or who to do it with.
So we created a trip for exactly that. And after an amazing first edition, we knew one thing for sure: we had to do it again.
But, as always, we listened to your feedback, learned from everything we experienced last year and asked ourselves: how can we make it even better?
Meet GO BEYOND — the next version of our Off-Piste Trip.
This winter, we’re heading to a brand-new destination: Montafon, Austria, with even more possibilities to explore freeride terrain. We’re making the groups smaller, with just 6 girls per guide, and for the first time ever, snowboarders can join us too!
We’ll host three different groups: one for experienced piste skiers who are new to off-piste and want to learn the basics, one for skiers who already have freeride experience and want to deepen their technique and knowledge, and one snowboard group with a mix of off-piste experience.
Because this trip is for the girl who looks at the powder next to the piste and thinks, I would LOVE to try that — but doesn’t have the girls around her to do it with or the knowledge to safely explore it herself.
And it’s just as much for the girl who has already discovered freeriding and wants more: more technique, more knowledge, more confidence and more experience in different terrain.
Together with our experienced guides, we’ll dive into off-piste technique, freeride skills, avalanche safety and mountain knowledge — and, of course, spend plenty of time actually putting it all into practice.
What connects everyone? You’re already a confident and experienced skier or snowboarder on piste. Now you’re ready to discover what lies beyond it.
Beyond the slopes. Beyond what you already know. Beyond your comfort zone.
This is GO BEYOND.
This trip is designed for 18 girls, split into three small groups of 6 based on discipline and off-piste experience:
Ski Group 1 — I’m new to off-piste
Ski Group 2 — I’m experienced off-piste
Snowboard Group — mixed off-piste experience
You’re currently on the sign-up page for ski group 2: I’m experienced off-piste. Read the description below carefully to make sure this is the right group for you.
Basic requirement for ALL groups: before looking at your off-piste level, there is one important requirement: you need to be an experienced and technically strong piste skier/snowboarder! You should ski /snowboard confidently and in control on all marked slopes, including black runs, and feel comfortable when conditions become more challenging — for example on steep, icy, bumpy or mogulled terrain.
GO BEYOND ski group 2: I’m experienced off-piste
This group is for experienced piste skiers who already have several days or more of off-piste experience and feel increasingly confident outside the marked slopes. The focus will be on refining your technique, exploring more challenging terrain and deepening your knowledge and decision-making in the mountains.
You’re comfortable skiing in different snow conditions and can adapt your technique to changing terrain. You already have experience using avalanche safety equipment and understand the basics of terrain selection and risk awareness.
You’re ready to improve your technique further, become more confident in challenging conditions and build towards making more independent decisions in the mountains.
In short: you already know what it’s like to ski beyond the slopes — now you’re ready to take your skills, knowledge and confidence to the next level
The location for our GO BEYOND // SKISISTERS off-piste trip will be Gaschurn, in the heart of Silvretta Montafon, Austria — a region made for exactly what this trip is all about: exploring beyond the slopes.
Silvretta Montafon is known as one of Vorarlberg’s freeride hotspots, with wide powder fields, varied off-piste terrain and freeride routes ranging from more accessible areas to steep and challenging lines. It even has its own Freeride Station and avalanche safety training area, making it an amazing playground to learn, progress and build confidence beyond the marked slopes.
After our first off-piste trip last winter, we wanted to find a destination that would give us even more possibilities for the next edition — and Montafon feels like the perfect place to GO BEYOND. With three small groups and different experience levels, there’s plenty of terrain for our guides to adapt the days to the group, the conditions and, of course, the snow.
New mountains, new terrain and a whole lot more to learn.
Now we just need to keep our fingers crossed for some good powder!
We’ll be staying at VAYA Post Montafon in Gaschurn — our home base for the week and the perfect place to come back to after a full day of exploring beyond the slopes.
The hotel is located right in Gaschurn, just a few minutes from the Versettlabahn and the mountains we’ll be exploring throughout the week.
You’ll stay in a shared room with another SKISISTERS girl, and our stay is on a half-board basis, meaning breakfast and dinner are included every day.
And after spending the day skiing, learning and probably using muscles you didn’t even know you had, there’s plenty of space to recover. The hotel has a wellness area with an indoor pool, sauna, steam bath and relaxation areas, as well as a fitness room.
Basically: full days in the mountains, followed by good food, wellness and cosy evenings together.
Exactly how we like our SKISISTERS trips. ♡
On Saturday afternoon from 3 PM, you’ll arrive at VAYA Post Montafon in Gaschurn. We’ll start the week easy — with time to settle in, unpack and meet the other girls before we officially kick off our GO BEYOND adventure together.
From Sunday to Wednesday, we’ll have four full days in the mountains. We’ll head out in three small groups of six — two ski groups based on off-piste experience and one snowboard group — each together with an experienced guide.
Every day will look a little different depending on the snow, weather, conditions and your group. Throughout the week, we’ll combine plenty of actual freeriding with technique training, avalanche safety, terrain awareness and backcountry knowledge. With only six girls per group, there’s lots of room for personal feedback, questions and progression.
We’ll also make time for theory and safety training off the mountain, because GO BEYOND isn’t only about becoming better at skiing or riding powder — it’s about understanding the mountains and building the knowledge to feel more confident beyond the slopes.
And, of course, it wouldn’t be a SKISISTERS trip without the little extras. Expect cosy evenings, time to recover, fun activities and plenty of moments to connect with the other girls after a full day outside.
On Thursday morning, we’ll enjoy one last breakfast together before checking out and heading home — hopefully with tired legs, new ski or snowboard friends, and a whole lot more confidence and knowledge than when you arrived.
We, Tamar & Danique will be there as your hosts during this trip, and to make sure you have an amazing time and feel fully supported from the moment you book until the end of the trip. If you have any questions, just reach out to us!
Our goal? To give you the space to learn, ask questions, challenge yourself and try something new without pressure. You don’t have to know everything already. You just have to be ready to GO BEYOND.
This trip is exclusively for women — because there’s something truly special about exploring the mountains with other girls, and we want you to experience that!
This trip is open to 18 girls in total, divided into three small groups of 6:
Ski Group 1 — I’m new to off-piste
Ski Group 2 — I’m experienced off-piste
Snowboard Group — mixed off-piste experience
You’re currently on the sign-up page for ski group 2: I’m experienced off-piste. Please make sure you’ve read the level description carefully before booking, as there are only 6 spots per group and last-minute group changes can be very difficult.

You’ll stay in a shared room with another SKISISTERS guest. If you’re joining with a friend, please let us know in advance and we’ll do our best to arrange for you to share a room.

All photos and videos taken during the trip will be shared with you afterwards.

For the girls who want to ski more. Learn more. Try something new. Meet new people. And maybe step a little outside their comfort zone along the way.
SKISISTERS is a female ski community founded by Danique & Tamar — two Dutch girls who traded the Netherlands for life in the Austrian mountains and turned their love for skiing, adventure and bringing women together into SKISISTERS.
We create ski trips and community days where you can learn without pressure, challenge yourself, ask questions, fall, try again and be surrounded by girls cheering you on.
But SKISISTERS is about so much more than just skiing. It’s about the girls you meet, shared lunches, après-ski, little adventures, laughs, new friendships and all those moments in between.
Every SKISISTERS experience combines great skiing, female coaching, beautiful destinations, community and a whole lot of fun.
Coming alone? You won’t be the only one. Most girls join us solo — you just have to GO.
