We are a reliable, pioneering and well organized adventure trekking company who came together to form Himalaya Heart in 2004. Prior to then we had spent many years leading groups as senior mountain guides throughout the Himalayas. We are well known and trusted today for our organization of trekking, climbing and adventure tours throughout Nepal.

This was a hard trek in a high-altitude environment. Recent snow fall made some of the walk more difficult. and delayed our start. I think that how well a trekking company works is indicated by how they manage things when they do not go to plan. We were troubled by weather and also by illness requiring an evacuation and also shortening the trek. In all aspects Himalayan Heart performed exceptionally and our guides Raj and Shiva could not have been better and provided unbelievable support whilst being warm friendly and caring, and with a wicked sense of humour everything was always 4 hours away even when we could see where we were going. They managed our health crises well and were very flexible. I could not recommend them more highly. Similarly, the base team in Kathmandu particularly Harri were excellent and provided outstanding service. Highly highly recommended

Our trip was disrupted by the weather - the airport was closed and by the time we got to Lukla, we were three days behind schedule. Despite this, Hari and Raj did a fabulous job re-organising the accommodation and adjusting the routes to the time and ability of our group. Almost no day or night was on the original schedule, but it ran like clockwork, and we had the opportunity to do EBC and the three passes in a compressed schedule that didn't feel rushed.

Wow! What a fantastic experience. Hari set up a fantastic 3 Passes trek. A friend of our group had recommended Hari, and though he couldn’t guide us due to previous commitments, he organised Raj to guide us on the walk with Shiva assisting. What a team they made. Overcoming a catastrophic tragic storm that killed many in nearby areas and delayed our flight to the start of the walk, they continued to adjust our flights and accommodation to meet our wishes and abilities. Hari worked miracles to get us flights. Raj is a wonderful & kind man, who guided us with great local knowledge and wisdom, and cared for us exceptionally well. Any stumble, he or Shiva magically appeared to assist and check you were ok. They both were great company - great warmth and humour. Every lunch or overnight stop was very well organized. We felt very pampered. Their and the porter’s physical abilities are amazing. The walk itself was challenging for a bunch of guys > 60 years old, particularly with the unseasonal recent snow fall we had on the first pass and getting across snowy glacial moraines, but my words would fail to describe the beauty, majesty and sheer verticality of the scenery and the warmth of the people. Just go and see for yourself!
