The Okavango Delta is an incredible area of land made up form a network of water channels, lagoons and lakes. At certain times of the year, there are incredible concentrations of all different kinds of wildlife that comes to the delta in search of water when the surroundings lands dry up.

If you go at the best time of year, between June and August, you are likely to experience some incredible sights that will never be forgotten. There are a few limited routes providing access to the delta by land by for many of the camps, in which you will be staying during your safari, the only access is by air. This form of transport is not only very exciting but provides you with some stunning aerial views over the Okavango Delta. It makes both the start and the end of your Okavango Delta safari just as special as the touring and sight-seeing itself. 

This bird eye view is an extra feature that not everyone experiences when they go on safari.
