8:30 am to 9:00 pm pick up in your accommodation or in another place you prefer. Schedule to be agreed together.
This Etna excursion begins on board our 4x4 jeep or car/van 9 seats. Along the route that will take us on the north side of Etna, our expert guide will explain the stories and legends of the Etnei villages and of our volcano.
The road that we will travel to reach the peaks of Etna is the famous Mareneve (recognized by the National Geographic among the 70 most evocative routes to travel with the bike).
Arrived in the heart of the protected area of the Etna Park we will begin our hike through off-road trails that wind through the undergrowth and walks on lava flows, discover breathtaking landscapes and craters (including the famous eruption of October 27, 2002 that destroyed the plants skiing of Piano Provenzana and a large part of the Ragabo Pineta).
We will continue the hike by climbing aboard our jeeps to reach a natural cave of lava flow, where armed with helmets, torches and ropes we will enter the lava tunnel to discover its formation and history.
