We hope you can join in for a different type of "Thanksgiving" this year, as we seek to bask in a combination of nature , adventure, great food, great culture and the photos to remember it all.
Guatemala is a truly a unique country and has everything from ancient Maya ruins, charming colonial towns, rich culture to active volcanoes. It’s just one of those countries you don’t want to overlook. In every little corner there is something to discover, to explore, to climb and to take a pictures of.
For 5 days we will traverse Antigua, the capital. Founded on March 10, 1543, La Antigua Guatemala was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1979. This beautiful and magical colonial city has almost five hundred years of history, with a privileged climate and an exceptional views.
We will immerse ourselves in Mayan culture, with tours to neighboring villages, learn how chocolate and coffee is made, visit the famed picturesque Lake Atitlan, discover the historical city sites, and of course, be IG ready, with visit to (the now world famous) Hobbitenango. And if you feel like getting the full impact of your visit, opt to visit the largest Mayan Ruins, i.e. Tikal and the City of Flores.
Our stay at a boutique 4-star hotel includes a bountiful local breakfast and offers an onsite restaurant serving authentic cuisine for lunch/dinner on your own.
