This was an amazing event. Well organized and executed. I felt completely comfortable with the company of participants. The communication was clear and organized - and at a good frequency. The event organizers were kind and welcoming. I would definitely do another event organized by Feisty!!
The perfect weekend retreat! I really enjoyed meeting and spending time with a diverse group of women with a common interest in health and wellness. The strength training workshop was the right combination of instruction and hands-on learning. Cassie made me feel comfortable from the start and by the end of the weekend I felt confident that I not only belonged in the heavy lifting part of the gym, but that I could really own my space there. The lunch and learns were an added bonus - so much I never knew about the pelvic floor and nutrition (and I'll leave it at that ...). Everything was very well organized. The lunches were healthy and delicious. And Friday dinner night and Sunday am hike were great ways to get to know the other women a bit more. I would definitely recommend the strong retreat to anyone looking to add lifting heavy to their fitness routine, and to have a recharge weekend. It was great to spend time with Selene and Sarah as well- very knowledgeable, eager to share their knowledge and just all around good people.
Fantastic. This course had it all - excellent instruction and skill building, wonderful accommodations, great food, fun and well-planned outings. The organizers thought of everything and handled all the logistics and contingencies. Casey is a gift to the world - she has endless patience and passion for helping us gain expertise in bike mechanics. I got much more out of the class than anticipated, and I fee more confident now about wrenching my bikes. I loved the setting of the course (in Patagonia) and that we could do our daily class work outside. Overall, a truly inspiring experience.
I loved my time at gravel camp! I was blown away by the accommodations, the food, and the skills of everyone around me! I was a bit intimidated by the athleticism of many of the attendees but everyone was approachable and friendly. The skills shared at camp were great and our instructors/helpers were all very knowledgeable. I hope I can cross paths with some of these gals again in the future. I would highly recommend this to anyone, both for gaining more knowledge about what makes their gravel bike tick as well as to be inspired by other women who do great things and learn more about what we can do if we try!
