      About this trip

Join us for an experience unlike any other as we take you behind the scenes to explore the lands of the Bible in a way that will change your life forever!

Much of the story of the New Testament recounts the spread of Jesus’ movement into the Greco-Roman world and the Roman Empire. As the Jewish followers of Jesus spread his movement, they confronted a world culturally, politically, and religiously opposed to them - a world very similar to what we live in today, where similar challenges face followers of Jesus.

Traveling to Greece with Pastor Joel Delph and Seacoast Church will provide you a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the Greco-Roman world, discover how first century followers of Jesus navigated their world, and better understand the historical accounts and teachings of the the New Testament.

The heart of this journey is to empower you to become the disciple God created you to be. By better understanding the world of the Bible, you will better understand the words of the Bible, transforming your ability to study it, do what it teaches, and share it with others. Join us for an experience unlike any other as we take you behind the scenes to explore the lands of the Bible in a way that will change your life forever.

We Believe: The Bible is God’s revelation in time, space, and culture. Encounters with the spatial, historical, cultural, and spiritual world of the Bible answer what the Bible meant as a way for modern readers to understand what it means for us today. Onsite engagement with the world of the Bible excites, encourages, and transforms Bible reading and study. Understanding what the Bible meant can create better followers of Jesus, people who study his words, do them, and teach others what they have learned (Ezra 7:10).

This trip was beyond anything I had anticipated. Biblical-Expeditions were very attuned to our needs and this trip was one of the most memorable trips I have ever taken. The attention to detail and our satisfaction did not go unnoticed.

Fantastic! More than what I could have imagined or expected. It was top of the line in every way! Thanks again Marc for an experience that I will talk about for years to come. The guides were superb. The drivers were exceptional and our teacher, Chandler Collins was “all that and more!” I look forward to my next adventure with Biblical Expeditions. Shalom! Awesome trip! Our leader, Marc Turnage, has such a depth of knowledge and is clearly overqualified to teach general laypeople. I wish I had recorded all his teaching because I definitely need a repeat course. He made the trip so meaningful and more like a pilgrimage. Also loved our Israel guide, Ilan and concierge Jana. The hotels in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem could definitely be upgraded. The food was plentiful and some of the meals were top notch. The bus driver was skillful in navigating some tight situations and bus was newer and always clean. Highly recommend this trip
