What to Expect
Each day will weave together yoga and mindful movement with time spent outdoors in nature. Whether you’re deepening an existing practice or just beginning to explore what wellness means for you, this retreat is designed to meet you exactly where you are.

About Your Host
Hi, I’m Janis— a nurse practitioner, certified health coach, and yoga teacher, and the founder of Growing Light Wellness & Yoga.
I’ve been teaching yoga since 2020 and hosting retreats at Winter Clove in the Catskills since 2021. My approach to yoga and wellness is rooted in accessibility and joy — I believe movement should feel good, and that everyone deserves to feel at home in their body.
My background in healthcare and health coaching means I bring a grounded, whole-person perspective to everything I do. Whether you’re on the mat, on the trail, or gathered around the dinner table, my goal is for you to leave feeling more connected, more at ease, and more yourself.
I can’t wait to share this space with you.
