BELIEVERS PRICE (Early Birds): 

Price: 1,440 USD (until May 15th, 2022) 

A deposit of 500 USD is required to  secure your spot, the rest of the full price must be paid before May 15th, 2022. 

STANDARD PRICE:

Price: 1,590 USD (Available from May 16th until July 15th, 2022) 

Due to the proximity of the trip, the full value must be paid in order to secure your spot.

Starting in Medellin, you will begin experiencing the vast vibrant culture of this amazing city through various cultural, gastronomical and social activities. We will start off with a surprise party where you will have the chance to get to know a little bit about Colombia and Medellin, while being able to interact and socialize with your classmates. This opening scene will set forth the whole magical tone of the Colombia Trek. In the following days, you will be able to experience incredible activities such as City/graffiti tour, Wonder Talks, Guatapé & El Peñol Rock and much more.

After enjoying Medellin, you will be ready to enjoy the Colombian Caribbean landing in Cartagena de Indias. Among other incredible activities, the highlight of Cartagena will be the Island Hopping at the Rosario Island Archipelago. A sunny boat day through crystal clear waters and white sandy beaches, while experiencing the best gastronomy and local liquors will make the most out of your authentic Caribbean experience. To end your trip, you will have a farewell private party.

On top of the planned activities, we have selected a series of optional cultural, adventurous and authentic experiences that you can book and enjoy.

In the “Available Options” section towards the bottom of this page, you can find a list of these activities, but be careful not to select two that can overlap. 

For Medellín (on Wednesday August 17th) you can only add 1 activity so they don’t overlap. 

For Cartagena (on Sunday August 21 and Monday August 22) you can add multiple activities, but be careful to avoid conflicts.

All rooms will be shared by two people in (2) twin beds

Before the trip begins, we will send you a link where you will choose  your roommate for all the destinations. 

We offer the option to upgrade your room into a single room. In case you wish to upgrade your stay, you can add these now, or later on the We Travel Platform following these steps:

We include (1) domestic flight in our package:

1. Medellín to Cartagena (1 hour flight)

Please bare in mind that your first destination is Medellin starting on August 15th, 2022 so your international flight would have to land directly in Medellin’s International Airport (José María Córdova International Airport). In time, we will be asking for your international flight details to arrange transportation logistics or to know if you would be arriving days before or after.

We will share with you all the flight details in advance!

General conditions:

- If you cancel up to 50 days (June 26th) prior to the trip, you will receive a full refund (excluding a service fee of USD $100).

- Between 49 days (June 27th) and 40 days (July 6th) prior to the trip, you will receive a 50% refund.

- Between 39 days and the beginning of the trip, no refunds will be issued.

- All refunds (if applicable) will be issued through WeTravel.com within 30 working days after the cancellation.

Transfer your booking:

- You can transfer your booking to another traveler at least 30 days before the trip. After this time we can't accept any type of booking transfer.

Cancellation due to COVID-19 Diagnosis:

- If a traveler tests positive for Covid-19 7 days or less prior to the trip, a 50% refund will take place.

- Bare in mind that no refunds will be issued if the Covid-19 diagnosis is positive during or after the trip. If you test positive during the trip, we will help you arrange your lodging and everything you need but this is NOT INCLUDED IN THE PRICE OF THE PACKAGE.

- All refunds (if applicable) will be issued through WeTravel.com within 30 working days after the cancellation.

- In order to process the refund, an e-mail must be sent to gabriela@wondertravel.co or melissa@wondertravel.co requesting the cancellation of the trip with the test result attached (confirmation of the authenticity of the document will be done on our side)

Transfer or cancel an additional activity:

- If you cancel an additional activity up to 30 days before the beginning of your trip, you will receive a full refund.

- All refunds (if applicable) will be issued through WeTravel.com within 30 working days after the cancellation.

- No refunds are available if the optional activity is cancelled 29 days before the trip.

- You can transfer optional activities to other travelers at least 30 days before the trip.

Cancellation due to special reasons:

- In case the trip is cancelled due to special reasons as natural disasters, pandemic, strikes, curfew, a mandatory lockdown or a border closure in Colombia or The United States due to COVID-19, you will receive a full refund (excluding a service fee of USD $100). 

- In case one of the events mentioned before takes place, a mandatory lockdown in Colombia or border closures in Colombia or The United States due to COVID-19 during the trip, a partial refund for the room nights and the activities that couldn’t be operated will be available. 

- All refunds  (if applicable) will be issued through WeTravel.com within 30 working days after the cancellation.

EXCEPTIONS: If you hold an American visa (student or tourist) expiring at least 180 days after you enter Colombia and you are a citizen of Cambodia, China, India, Myanmar, Nicaragua, Thailand or Vietnam, you DON´T NEED a Colombian visa.
