Guayaquil part:
We will  start  the day  with  the CACAO FARM   We will experience first-hand the uses and traditions of our people and we will learn in absolute detail each stage of chocolate production, from the harvest (tasting the fresh cacao fruit and its exquisite aroma and flavor), learning the fermentation process, roasting, grinding thus making our own choco-paste, and then making our own chocolate bars with our hands, an experience that many couples find exhilarating and aphrodisiac.

Also, we will enjoy a traditional meal in a rustic cabin located in the countryside near Guayaquil, just a 30-minute drive away. After  that  we will  drive back  t o the city for  the CITY TOUR   We will drive and walk through the most remarkable city in this country, with unique wildlife, amazing flora, we will find out that it is truly an eye-opening experience how much art we find around this city, history, architecture and a VERY strong connection between us and the Galapagos Islands even  Barbara who´s been  before will experience new  things,  you  know  that  us  humans keep  on evolving all  the time so has my  city tour itinerary…

Quito part:
Let´s remember  that Quito is a jewel of a city located at  9.000 ft of altitude making it the highest  capital  of the world with  magnificent architecture in the historical center so  YES, we´re  going to  visit the city and its most remarkable attractions such as some (not all, of course) the gorgeous churches of the city including  La Compañía de Jesus  among  others, the independence Plaza there is also a spectacular museum by the most  notorious modern art Ecuadorian  painter: Oswaldo  Guayasamín  “expresionist” would be more of a description  of his work  ,we Will  also visit  the remarkable  Mitad  del Mundo site where the participants  will  enjoy all  the  features and information about being in the actual “line” that  divides the planet  in two hemispheres.

Since there´s a plane to catch It seems obvious to me that going to a fine restaurant for  dinner is in order.

Galapagos And Guayaquil Visit

I never made it to the Galapagos, so this tour did not happen. 

3 Epic days Galapagos east islands trip for Paminzu 360 or ISLA LOBOS

This was wonderful tour.  The guide was so knowledgeable and friendly.  

The Cocoa farm was very educational seeing, and participating in the various steps of the cocoa from the tree and seeds to the final chocolate product.

Lunch at their farm was delicious!
