Explore Yellowstone's famed Lamar Valley, wildlife rich Northern Range, and iconic interior with Yellowstone's wolf watching and wildlife experts. At Yellowstone Wolf Tracker, we are about providing a once in a lifetime experience in our world's first national park.
Observing wolves, bears, bison, and birds in their natural habitat, sharing captivating stories of the wolf reintroduction, describing the controversial management of Yellowstone's charismatic megafauna--our privately guided tours are educational, in-depth, and inspiring.
From the comfort of our touring vehicles, each outing is a private, customizable experience, kid friendly and family orientated. Our naturalist guides are skilled, knowledgeable, and dedicated to what they do. Each of our guides knows the park's wolf packs and where to search for them.
The experience starts at dawn and lasts about six hours in the field but can run an hour or two longer depending upon sightings, conditions, and interest. We provide a continental style breakfast, which consists of a smorgasbord of breakfast and snack items.
We are located at the North Entrance to Yellowstone in Gardiner, Montana, and recommend that our guests/clients stay in Gardiner or Mammoth Hot Springs for convenience. Additional meeting locations in northern Yellowstone include Canyon Village, Tower Junction, and Lamar Valley.

Since wolves were reintroduced to Yellowstone Park in the 1990's, Yellowstone Wolf Tracker has been on the ground tracking and observing these fascinating, but elusive, wild animals. Developed by a local husband and wife team of biologists, Nathan Varley and Linda Thurston, our guiding services specialize in providing a rich natural history experience with your best chances of seeing wolves and other hard-to-find wildlife in Yellowstone. Pioneers in the business, YWT has a 5-star rating from Trip Advisor.
