About this trip

Custom Backcountry Ski Guiding from  AIARE II- and WFR-certified guides (locals!)

Hunt powder in the Jay Range with local guides!

Jay Peak receives the most annual snowfall of any resort on the East Coast (and as much as many in the West). Want to get untracked lines, steep chutes, and endless glades? Hire a local certified guide and experience the fastest growing snow sport in New England

What can I expect?

Check out this video from the 2016/2017 season

The intro and second half of the video were almost entirely filmed in the backcountry in and near the Jay Range.

We can't guarantee snow conditions. But Jay Peak's annual snowfall is enough to produce some of the deepest days we've ever skied.

Want to setup a guided tour outside of these dates? Get in touch via wetravel or email and we can work it out.

WHO WE ARE: We’re the brothers Goyette; Nick, Matt, and Mikey. We grew up near Boston riding Blue Hills, the miniature (and only) mountain next to Boston’s city limits. We spent our younger days learning the peaks of the Northeast and moved on to exploring resorts in the West in places like Colorado, Utah, and Montana, to name a few. We’ve met some amazing people along the way, learned the ways of the mountain, and over the years we’ve stepped up our game to bring you the best mountain experiences. We host unique and affordable ski and snowboard weekends and vacations to help you make the most of your winter.

Great getaway, but bad timing with snow! Good food, great friends, great location. Would pay extra money for Friday night water park party cause there aren’t any local late night bars/clubs.

We had a great time. The shuttles busses were fast and friendly. The hotel was accommodating. The mountain was beautiful
Always an amazing time with SnowRiders! Great people, great deals, and fun parties!
