We had a great time and the accommodations were very nice. The tour guides were great and very helpful in every aspect of the trip. The itineraries were well laid out and adjusted as needed. I would have liked to have had less time in the restaurants and more time sight seeing. Also, I would have liked to have seen a couple of things I saw in the travel guides and our tour guide was not able to make it happen.

The trip was very educational and quite an eye-opener insofar as actually seeing what is available to the Cuban people. Havana was once a beautiful city - unfortunately not now. Hotels leave a lot to be desired - again, an example of lack of availability of supplies. The restaurants arranged for our tour, and the food, were fabulous - this is not what the average Cuban partakes in. I am glad I went but would certainly not return.

Cuba is not your typical vacation destination. We were treated to great music, good food, and unique sites in this Communist country. Getting adequate bottled water became a problem for some. The staff did their best to handle difficult situations, especially for those of us who are mobility impaired. This involved changing a hotel with steep, awkward stairs. Communication about schedules could have been better.

Thank you for this interesting, educational and eye-opening trip. Cuba island is beautiful and very lush. The beach communities were relaxing and enjoyable. Much of Havana is sadly in a state of disrepair...but the people are lovely and friendly and welcoming. I really enjoyed the food and beverages and entertainment. I do recommend people stay in "American" style hotels. I am so glad I had this opportunity to visit Cuba...once in a lifetime trip. Oregon West is a fabulous tour company. The staff are knowledgeable, accommodating and extremely helpful...the Best!
