About this trip

Open to all students of Ayurveda from all schools.

The Gurukul system of education in the Vedic scheme refers to a residential type of schooling where the shishyas (students) reside in or near the Guru's home and acquire knowledge from the teacher.  Not only do students acquire important knowledge on various subjects taught, but also learn about this way of life.

Through the Gurukul system, students will have the opportunity to learn authentic Ayurveda under the direct supervision of a guide & mentor in a transformative, immersive, spiritual and traditional ashram environment.

Students will engage in a comprehensive Ayurvedic curriculum that facilitates competency through direct experience with a competent Ayurvedic practitioner.

Our In-Person Gurukul Clinical Residency takes place at the beautiful Kashi ashram in Sebastian, Florida.

The Kashi campus offers 80 acres of natural landscapes along the St. Sebastian River where attendees can truly unwind and steep in the richness of Mother Nature.

While accommodation is not listed in our program price, Sebastian, Florida has a diverse selection of lodging options. Students may stay at the ashram in onsite accommodation ranging from shared dorms to camping, or opt to stay in a local hotel, resort or a private Airbnb.

There are several accommodation options within walking distance of the Ashram. Students are responsible to set up their own accommodations. Executive chef Swami Rudra Das lovingly prepares and serves three delicious, nourishing, vegetarian meals daily that are included.
