Take some time for your soul this long weekend. Nourish yourself with forest walks, workshops, yoga classes, good night sleeps and quiet mornings. Come alone or bring a good friend and allow time to slow down for a few days as you melt into the rhythm of nature, and your heart.
Wake up in a multi-coloured forest, walk through the woods to a yoga class in front of a raring fire, eat a delicious local breakfast, spend time in the woods and enjoy some quiet time for reflection. Learn about nature, and how you can dance with its cycles. Eat a nutritious supper of food grown on the very land you are sitting on, have interesting conversation round the campfire, go to bed to the sounds of loons calling to each other across the lake.
Terra Perma is a 800 acre private forest and eco-development. Their land includes a private lake with paddleboards and canoes, a network of walking trails, a sawmill and a food forest. They have a range of activities including permaculture gardens, forest schools, and micro-financing for businesses. They have recently built a brand new wellness center, a gorgeous space deep in the forest by a river, and we are lucky to be some of the first to use it!
This is designed to be a rustic, glamping experience. Accommodations are shared with composting toilets and solar showers. Private accommodations available upon request at an extra fee.
