Join High Country Yoga for a weekend retreat at the Hawk and Hawthorne - a permaculture farm just outside of Asheville, NC. The weekend will be filled with a variety of yoga offerings as well as the many different included activities below.
Briana, owner of High Country Yoga, will be leading morning sessions of yoga with movement, meditation, and self-discovery practices. There will also be several workshops and classes offered throughout the weekend led by HCY instructors and community members for you to explore.
Our beloved Chef Kim of Soul Fire Food + Events will be providing intentional vegetarian meals and yummy snacks to keep us nourished and fueled throughout our stay.
Camping on site is included! This is a wonderful way to really drop into the weekend under the light of the full moon. You are encouraged to bring "glamping gear" to ensure a comfortable night's rest each night and are welcome to bring anything you need (like an air mattress!). Camping in a van or trailer is permitted in the parking lot (across from the farm). Please note that hookups are not available.
If camping is not your cup of tea, you are more than welcome to book offsite accommodations and come/go as you please. There is also one Yome (think fancy tent with a bed) and a bunkhouse (shared barn with bunkbeds) on the property. These accommodations are available for an additional fee on a first-come, first-served basis. If interested, please contact the Hawk and Hawthorne directly to book.
There are 3 private bathroom stalls located on site, one of which has a hot water shower. Please bring your own shower towel.
There is also a spring-fed heart-shaped pond on site. You are welcome to take a rinse in the pond at any time, just please note that soap (even Dr Bronners) is not permitted in the pond.
