Over 13 days, you will usher in a transformation of spirit. You will embark on your own personal healing journey, guided by a community of healers, and immerse yourself in an authentic experience living among the Indigenous people of the Andes.
Tupaq, Carol and Amy have partnered to bring you a solid foundation and experiential immersion in Andean Energy Medicine of the Inkas. Under their expert guidance, and Tupaq’s spiritual community of the Ayllu K’anchaq Qollur, you will be initiated along your healing path. You’ll return home lighter, more connected to yourself, and in deeper connection with the natural world and the cosmic beings here to guide you.
Experience Peru as it was meant to be felt. You won’t be lost in a sea of tourists, but held in a sacred valley of healing.
This journey is like no other.
An Immersive Indigenous Healing Experience
You’ll initiate your healing journey, in Pisac where you’ll spend three days with Amy and Carol. They are a stellar team, with decades of experience to guide and support you in learning the foundational knowledge, practices, and rituals to help provide context for your healing work with the Paqos. You’ll have time to rest, and explore the village by foot, as you acclimate to the altitude. Here we will weave our energies, and create a cohesive SAPAN AYLLU, or healing community. Next…
We’ll spend 6 days at Túpaq’s family’s ancestral home of Pomaqanchi
Immersing ourselves in the healing practices of the Paqo Andino. You’ll have the rare opportunity to learn directly from the source: Andean healing masters who have learned their craft through generations of study and connection to their lineage of light, the Pachamama and Celestial Mountain Spirits that govern the Andean Cosmology.
From Tupaq and his community of Paqos (medicine people), you’ll clarify your body-mind, deepen your connection to yourself, experience ceremonies to help you actualize your relationship to the earth, the Pachamama and the Cosmic Beings here to support you in your spiritual evolution. Through individualized attention, you’ll receive gifts of personal practices, rituals, and healing ceremonies to guide you on your healing journey that you can practice even after you return home.
Together we’ll travel to sacred sites for cleansing and purification.
We’ll culminate our journey in a pilgrimage to a holy mountain, to camp for 3 nights. On the mountain, we’ll integrate our healing with the support of the Apus (mountain spirits).
After descending from the mountain, we’ll gather in Cusco and have a bit of time to explore this magnificent and historical INKA city, culminating in a final celebratory dinner together.
Carry Home A Personalized Healing Practice
This is a rare opportunity to deeply explore your own personal healing practices while being held in a safe container by masterful healers and teachers. You’ll be immersed in the Indigenous culture of Tupaq and his brothers, the Ayllu K’anchaq Qollur. We’ll stay within their ancestral home, share traditional meals, and experience personalized healing handed down from generations in this sacred village in the Andes.
Tupaq and his Allyu will begin with an assessment of your multidimensional health and wellbeing. They’ll gift you with personalized practices and teachings to create more balance, flow, and connection in your life. You’ll experience healing directly from the Paqos while in Peru, then return home with the tools to continue your journey at home.
Your personalized healing practices might include:
We’ll begin each day with morning meditations. In the afternoons, you’ll receive ceremonies and practices from the Ayllu and focus on your healing journey. Throughout our time in the valley, we’ll visit sacred sites and eventually make a pilgrimage to the holy mountain of Apu Suntur.

About Túpaq
Túpaq Ttito Kuntur was born in Pomaqanchi, Peru. His journey in Andean medicine began as a child under the guidance of his grandfather and parents who worked with plant medicines as pampamisayoqs.
Túpaq has experienced many of the classic initiations for becoming a medicine person. He has been struck by lightning twice (as a child and an adult) and then as a teenager, he lost his grandfather and his father tragically soon. Sick with an incurable, mysterious illness, he left home to learn how to heal himself, and initiated his path as a paqo, first becoming a Pampamisayoq and then after many years of personal tests and training the Apus (the mountain spirits) gave him the Celestial Misha of High Misayoq, or Altomisayoq (Achiq Akulleq paqo).
In addition to being in service as High Misayoq, he has been called to become Willaq Uma a messenger and prophet of the ancestors and the spiritual cosmos, to continue with the prophecy that his Inka ancestors left, to gather and restore the spiritual power of the Tawantinsuyu of the Inkas, along with his brothers chosen for these times according to the Pachakutiq and the Inka prophecy.
About Carol:
After extensive training with indigenous teachers and the School of Lost Borders, Carol Parker has been leading vision quests in Death Valley and Canyon de Chelly since 2005. Starting in 2007 she began leading pilgrimages in the Peruvian Andes with traditional Paqos (high mountain shamans). She founded the Eco Psychology program at Southwestern College in Santa Fe, NM as one way to bring these teachings to her students. In addition, with the blessings of her North and South American indigenous elders, she incorporates wisdom teachings, ceremonies, and healing techniques into her work as a psychotherapist and graduate school professor.
Trip guides have taken all precautions to ensure and safe and healthy experience for all. Pilgrimage participants are expected to comply with all related COVID-19 requirements in the destination country as well as home county. Please check the CDC Guidelines for questions or concerns.
Hiking at high altitudes is part of this experience. Participants should plan to be physically fit for daily walking, hiking over uneven surfaces at high altitudes.
Please talk to Amy if you have concerns about this, or if think you might need horse for the camping portion of the trek.
There may be some single rooms available in Pisac and Cusco for an extra charge but not guaranteed. Please inquire with Amy about this.
In Pisac we will be staying at Melissa Wasi for 3 nights, a comfortable retreat center located outside of the main village, about 20 minutes walking distance to the square.
In Pomacanchi, we will be staying for 6 nights at Túpaq's family's home, where the have built rustic and authentic accommodations. Pomacanchi is a rural village and so power outages and hot water can sometimes be an issue.
In the mountains, we will camp for 3 nights. You will have to bring your own zero degree sleeping bag and pad. Tents will be provided.
In Cusco, we stay at a beautiful hotel, with comfortable beds and hot showers, along with fireplaces in the rooms. It's a lovely quaint little spot.
This is an authentic immersion into Peruvian and Indigenous culture.
Your guides will prepare you for what to expect, but we ask you to be respectful and patient.
