Your heart:
KC will teach self-care acupressure for the neck, shoulders, and arms to awaken the relationship between your heart and your hands. KC will lead you to soften and let go of stress in yin yoga heart opening poses.
Drums:
Guest teacher Robin Patrick-Miernicki will hold a creative space for you to connect your heart and hands to the beat of her drums. You are welcome to bring your own rhythm sticks and join the drum circle or borrow music instruments at the retreat.
Planet Earth:
Guest teacher Daniel Perkins will guide a nature walk around the Woolman campus to feel the ground beneath your feet, and connect the beat of your heart and the sound of the drums, with the rhythm of our planet earth.

This class will be based on the FIRE ELEMENT. KC teaches through the lens of Chinese Medicine. This is the theory that everything in nature is also within each of us, because we are a part of nature.
The FIRE ELEMENT is about connecting to your heart, your energy, your passions for life. What wisdom from your heart lights ups your eyes? How can your hands be a reflection of your heart?
Special attention will be given to offer you a creative space for expression of your heart and hands to set you up for drumming!
