From legendary landmarks like Christ the Redeemer and the Selarón Steps, to the soul of the favelas and the secret beach escapes of Arraial do Cabo — you’ll see it all, guided by locals and hosted in style.

 We'll be staying at B&B Hotels Rio Copacabana Posto 5, a modern and comfortable hotel located just a few blocks from the beach and close to everything — restaurants, metro, nightlife, and local gems. 

The standard accommodation is in shared twin rooms (double occupancy) with fellow travelers from the group, and daily breakfast is included. By default, room sharing is not mixed. Mixed rooms are only arranged if guests specifically request it. 

We offer flexible payment options to make your trip planning stress-free. Installments are available, allowing you to pay in manageable portions leading up to your departure.  If you have any questions about payment options, don’t hesitate to reach out — we’re here to help! 

We completely understand that sometimes plans change, and we aim to be as fair and transparent as possible. Our cancellation policy is as follows:

• Up to 40 days before departure: Full refund 
• 39 to 16 days before departure: Partial refund 
• 15 days or fewer before departure: Unfortunately, no refund can be provided

Itinerary Flexibility: Some outdoor activities may be rescheduled or adjusted in case of bad weather. We prioritize your safety and experience, so our team will communicate any changes and make sure you still have an amazing time!

Visa and Entry Requirements: Check if a visa is required based on your nationality. Many countries are exempt, but it's essential to confirm and apply if necessary. Ensure that your passport is valid for at least six months beyond your planned stay.

Weather: Rio has a tropical climate, so pack light clothing, comfortable shoes, and never forget the sunscreen. As this trip takes place during the Brazilian winter, temperatures remain mild, but a light jacket and pants are recommended for cooler evenings and occasional breezy days.

Electricity: Rio uses 110V for electricity, and Type N plugs are common. Make sure you have the correct adapter and check if your devices are compatible.

Time Zones: Rio operates on Brasília Time (GMT-3). Be aware of the time difference if you’re coordinating with people in other time zones.

 Your Brazilian adventure begins! After your arrival at the airport (GIG or SDU), our team will be there to welcome you and transfer you to the hotel in Copacabana. As soon as you check into your room, you’ll find a little surprise: a set of exclusive welcome gifts, specially prepared to get you in the Rio mood – local treats, travel essentials, and a few curated goodies to start your trip on the right foot. You will also gain access to our Digital Local Guide, packed with insider tips, recommendations, and all the info you need to explore the city like a local.

In the evening, we’ll meet up for an optional group hangout – a relaxed moment to connect with your new crew and start soaking in the Rio vibes.

 Today is all about discovering the most iconic and breathtaking sights of Rio de Janeiro. On our full-day guided city tour, you’ll visit legendary landmarks like the towering Christ the Redeemer, the colorful Selarón Steps, the charming hillside streets of Santa Teresa, and the historic vibes of Lapa — all while learning about the city’s rich history, art, and culture along the way.

In the afternoon, we’ll pause for a delicious local lunch, giving you the chance to relax and try some authentic Brazilian flavors. After lunch, we’ll wrap up the day with a visit to the stunning Sugarloaf Mountain — riding the cable car to the top just in time for golden hour views over the city, beaches, and bay. It’s a perfect finale to your first full day in Rio.

Evening is free to explore, unwind, or catch the sunset by the beach with your new travel crew.

 Today is about depth, connection, and experiencing Rio beyond the postcards. On this powerful sociocultural tour of a favela at Rocinha, you’ll be guided by local residents who will share the true history, culture, and daily life of their community — far from stereotypes. You’ll walk through the alleys, visit local initiatives, and have the chance to interact with residents, ask questions, and understand the challenges and beauty of favela life from those who live it.

To close the tour, you’ll be invited to witness and take part in a capoeira experience — a vibrant blend of martial arts, dance, music, and Afro-Brazilian heritage. This class is led by an inspiring NGO that uses capoeira as a tool for education and community building. Half of the proceeds from this tour go directly to supporting this organization and the free classes they offer to local youth.

This is not just a tour — it’s a meaningful exchange that will leave you with a deeper understanding of Rio and its people.

Friday is the perfect day for a tropical escape! We’ll leave early for a full-day adventure to Arraial do Cabo, known as the “Caribbean of Brazil.” Crystal-clear waters, white sand beaches, and dramatic cliffs await you on this unforgettable boat tour. You might even spot whales, as this is the peak of whale season! Spend the day diving into turquoise waters, soaking up the sun, and taking in breathtaking coastal views. We’ll return to Rio in the evening, just in time for some well-deserved rest. 

It’s Saturday — the perfect time to take it slow and recover from Friday’s day trip. Enjoy a lazy beach day, explore your favorite neighborhood, grab an açaí, or sleep in. In the evening, get ready for our exclusive Brazilian Nightlife Experience: samba, funk, and the vibrant beats that make Rio dance. We’ll hit a local spot where locals actually party — no tourist traps, just real energy and unforgettable memories. 

Sundays in Rio are made for wandering and soaking up local life. This free day is perfect for relaxing, shopping for souvenirs at traditional Sunday street fairs, or ticking off that last item on your Rio bucket list. Whether you want to visit a museum, chill by the beach, or just walk around, the city is yours. In the evening, join an optional samba hangout — something casual, local, and full of good vibes to close the weekend. 

It’s our last full day together, and we’re heading into the wild heart of the city: the Tijuca Forest, the largest urban rainforest in the world. In an open jeep, we’ll explore trails, scenic viewpoints, and waterfalls – a peaceful and green adventure to wrap up the trip. In the evening, we’ll have an optional farewell hangout to celebrate our time together, share memories, and enjoy one last sunset with the crew. 

Time to say goodbye – or maybe just "see you later." After breakfast, we’ll assist with check-outs and organize your airport transfers.
