Experience nature, culture, and Spanish language learning on our 12-day/11-night immersion trip to Guatemala.
This trip is designed for students at the Advanced level, with nearly all activities conducted in Spanish. Your program directors, Chelsea and Chiva, will be available to provide translations and language correction when necessary.
Our classroom time will be limited to 10 hours throughout the duration of the 12-day trip. In class, we will learn about Guatemalan history, politics, and culture and enjoy open discussion and debate in Spanish. The remainder of the trip will be filled with opportunities for practical application of Spanish, be it in a cooking class, on a jungle hike, at the market, or during an overnight homestay in Lake Atitlán.
For those interested in joining our Spanish Immersion trip in Guatemala, we will be hosting two Discovery Calls via Zoom. These calls consist of a brief presentation as we walk through the itinerary together before opening up the session to questions and general conversation.

Upon arrival at the La Aurora international airport in Guatemala City, you will be greeted by one of your Tour Leaders. She will escort you to Antigua Guatemala via private shuttle to get you settled into your hotel and show you around town.
In the evening we will enjoy an interactive Guatemalan cooking class at a small, locally-owned cooking school in Jocotenango, a quick 10-minute drive away from the bustling tourist center of Antigua Guatemala.
